FINALLY!!!

I finally shot my 1st sanctioned 800. This season I had a 799,797 and a 790 set. Tonight I finally got my 800. 266, 279, 265 for 809. I was using my new storm IQ tour pearl. That ball is just amazing. I have bowled 6 games in league. The 3 i mentioned above and last week 244 200 and a 299 with this ball.

Very nice shooting! You're making me anxious to use my !Q Tour Pearl this week even more now. I shot 648 last week with my !QTP and I'm starting to work my way out of a slump and on top of that I kept pulling the ball 45% of the night. The shots I let roll and trusted struck every single time!

Great shooting and keep it up!

i do not like the IQ pearl at all, to over/under for me
condition specific at best, not a benchmark piece
some love it, some don't

All the people that haven't liked theirs so far i hit with 2000 and then they loved it. Might want to try some surface

Glad to hear ya finally got over that hurdle or should I say wall. You sent me words of encouragement, several days ago when I mentioned that I had not shot an 800. Job well done sir!

Congrats on your 800! The factory shine on the IQ Pearl i wasn't a fan of either. I hit it with a 1000 abralon and use the Motiv polish that gave it that matte sheen shine and it blends the wet dry house shot nicely.

Here is a pic of the ball. I don't know the exact layout. I told the pro shop guy I wanted a layout with a little more back end then a bench mark layout for me.

My specs are 380 revs about 19 mph off the hand. axis tilt 12 and axis rotation 74.

Looks like a stacked leverage layout. My Tour pearl is almost identical in layout, just move the pin and cg 3/4" left and it would exact. Still too much ball for what I was originally looking for. Nothing a surface change can't fix.
