Will sciatica ever go away?
« on: October 06, 2006, 01:48:51 AM »
I've been fighting this for 2 months now and I absolutely cannot bowl unless I have 2 days rest, and I still need to take 1600 mg of ibuprofen.  If I schedule a doctors appointment, is there anything he can do for me???

Good luck!  Back pain is no fun, hopefully you can find someone that can help get you some relief.

Went to the doctor this morning and he gave me an x-ray and prescribed muscle relaxers and advil.  He also set me up with a physical therapist.  I take the advil in the morning and before bed and he said on bowling nights I can take two tylenol 650's until it starts getting better.  Hopefully thats sooner than later.....

Shane,

If your taking medicine to bowl at your young age, just wait till you get my age. I don't take anything to bowl, but my back and hips and knee and wait, that's enough.

Chiropractors work wonders at times.

Good luck.
