Complete NV or Rapid fire pearl
« on: June 28, 2008, 02:14:06 PM »
I am looking for a ball that goes long and flips hard and I am looking at these two. Which one would be better, I am a tweener with medium revs and medium speed

depends on the lane condition you want the ball to be used on.
Complete NV is more of a Medium-Heavy
Rapid Fire Pearl is more Medium-Light

The Complete NV is more of a medium to medium+ oil ball.
The Rapid Fire Pearl is more of a medium-light to medium oil ball.

Also unless you and your driller are used ot drilling asymmetric or mass bias balls, the Complete NV is a strong Mass Bias ball. That means you have to be a somewhat consistent bowler, the ball will be less versatile once it is drilled and it has to be drilled for your delivery/release.
If drilled wrong, it can make it almost unusable.

The Rapid Fire, being a symmetric core ball, is a more user friendly and more versatile once drilled. it is also more skid/flippy.
