League using NCAA 1 oil pattern

Our league is at a University bowling alley so they have the NCAA oil patterns on the machine.  They were using some really old dry house shot, but recently switched to the NCAA 1 pattern which is supposed to be the easiest of the 5 NCAA patterns.  I'm wondering about any opinions on how much harder this is than a normal house shot, and differences in how to play it.  Here's the link to the PDF for NCAA 1, basically a 42 foot 5 to 1 ratio of oil.

I've bowled on NCAA#1 several times from practicing alongside the Arkansas State girls team and in my opinion it is still fairly easy. If you've bowled on any of Kegel's Challenge series patterns, it is just a tad easier than that. Normal house shots are around a 8 to 1 or 10 to 1 oil ratio so think of it as a bridge between your house shot and the Kegel Challenge patterns. My THS is 39' with 19mL and a 8 to 1 ratio on Pro-anvilane. When I play on NCAA#1, I usually play in the same area of the lane but "ball up" to a more aggressive ball. Odds are it would be a good idea to throw the ball straighter through the heads and keep the breakpoint in the 7-10 board area.

Thanks, yeah I have been trying to play it like an easier house shot and seems to be the problem I've been having with it.  They usually put out NCAA 5 patterns when I practice, or NCAA 3.  So I essentially practice all week on those then suddenly at league it's NCAA 1 and definitely a switch, but not as much as I had thought I guess.  I will treat it like it is a little more serious of pattern with a stronger ball and a straighter outside line, sounds like that is the way to approach it.
