Last year my winter league's lanes were pretty sloppy. Sloppy backends.
I had to work hard to get a wrinkle out of a ball. I find out last night at the Captians meeting that they are changing the pattern. It is twice the oil, buffed to 46 feet. Looks like a straight up the far out side to the pocket all freakin winter. AARRGGGG

I could.. But I really like all the people here. What I think/hope is going to happen is all the 210+ ave bowlers are going to complain and they will change it back. This was not a house decision.. It was the League secretary.. No vote or anything..

This league is one of the higher payouts, and a lot of good fun people.

I had a similiar problem at a loca center....I easily combated those conditions with a particle sanded down to 320 grit. I still could not swing the ball, but it was deadly straight up 12 board.

I used two balls for this condition, 1 Track Freak and the other was a C300 reaction arc

Personally, I would view it as an opportunity to work on a component of the game that most house shots don't allow for...that said, I'm curious what the actual application distance is and what conditioner was going to be used. Longer buffs with short application can tend to break down and open up pretty quick...too many people get hung up only on the final distance.

Shoulda kept that Blueberry..... On the Tourn. of Champion 50 Pattern with Gardian overlay I played a small swing from 15 to 12. ands just CRUSHED the pocket. and yea I got the ball to move....

granted that was not a buff to 50' it was oil to 50' then dry.... but I think it may play similar at least til they breakdown.
