A short season, say summer season, plastic tournament on a short challenge pattern would be a good idea...gives me ideas actually to try to get one started in my house.  Tournament hell yea, in fact there are a few around here every once in a while (MD/PA)

That's a common sentiment, but the problem is that the people who have a plastic ball with a core aren't going to drop $60-80 for a pancake spare ball just to use in special events.
