There are 2 Steel Fingers that I know of.
1 is the original intended to help support fingers & knuckles that have arthritis or tendonitis or similar afflictions. It works very well. I always carry it with me - ALWAYS. I don't always need it, but I always carry it.
2 is the entire Steel Fingers wrist support. I have not tried that; so there's nothing I can say about it.

I use the original Steel Fingers -- the one that goes just over the fingers and knuckles -- from time to time.

First of all, the product works as advertised. Even that little bit of support means a ton to me.

The downside is they want to try to twist over to the sides of my fingers, and I can't get the straps tight enough to prevent it. So that means a lot of adjusting during a game with the straps. Also, they're not the easiest things to get on and off, so if you need to reach into your back pocket for your wallet, you need to plan ahead.

However, all shortcomings aside, it could be just what you need and the price isn't bad to try them out.

As for the full wrist brace/finger brace combo, I've never used one, but I've heard it's not a very effective product.
