Title: www.trackbowling.com
Post by: C-G ProShop-Carl on August 02, 2007, 10:59:28 PM
Hey folks, our new website launched a couple of days ago. We want our site to be unique from other bowling ball websites. Could you please venture over there to check it out? I am interested in the comments of everyone, even if you are not a Track thrower. Please, give suggestions to improve upon the website and state your opinion of how it is in its current form.

Thank You,

-Carl

Carl, the website is great and as I stated in another post and in an e-mail to Figs, I just want to see equality for all 4 brands. I always felt that Track played second fiddle to Columbia. If Ebonite is offering logo shirts, then I should be able to get a Track logo shirt, if Ebonite has a logo hat, so should Track. They have done that very well with Hammer, and I'm sure they'll do the same for Track & Columbia.

To tell you the truth, I'm not really that impressed with the website. Don't reply to this saying "You couldn't make a better site" because I know. But there isn't anything that sets it apart from any of the other companies sites. I mean Storm, Ebonite, Brunswick, all of them have videos and even though the new Track stuff hasn't been released yet, the new site doesn't really have that much stuff on it. You can spend about 10 minutes on the site and see everything that there is to see. I'm sure this will change when the new stuff is released, so I have my hopes up.

I think as a new start it is great. The more balls that are released the more information that we will see on the site. The other companies have more info because they have more equipment.

One of the things I would like to see is all of the helpful information that has been posted in this forum from Rick, Carl and other Track faithful be added to the Track site in a coaching section. Some sort of a ball reaction chart/graph would be great also. As new balls come out you can have a visual of how they differ from balls already in the arsenal.

Something you might want to do, is have a link back to the Track homepage when your in the forums. I know you can click the Track logo, but a link would be like it. Just my .02.

Not bad, typical flash, looks good. Simple, but looks good.
