How long???

How long (years bowling) did it take for those with 300's???
I started bowling when I was 8 stopped when I was 16 to pursue baseball.  Took bowling back up summer 04.  Now I'm 25 and seem to get closer and closer each week to finally getting that perfecto.  Closest came last weds when I had front 8 but got heart broke in 9th with a ringing 10.  So what about you people???

I started back in 1987 when I was 3 and didn't bowl a 300 until December 2, 1999 when I was 15.  Shot it with an impact zone, and went almost brooklyn on the last shot.  Crumbler.
