Okay here's the question...What's the difference?? Anyone have both of these...I already have a Vertigo and I'm drilling up an Xcel on tuesday.. How will the Xcel be different.. The Vertigo is drilled to crank and I'm drilling up the Xcel the same way. I was just curious, thanks in advance

Personally, I think that The Real Deal trumps both of these ball. The cut-throat coverstock on this ball is awesome on heavy oil.

I have a real deal... I Have it drilled with the top side weight drilled out so that it runs long... Great for a breaking down condition..

SirAshley,
I have my Real Deal drilled with the pin under my ring finger. It's drilled so that it revs really quickly since I have such high ball speed.
BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SUBJECT......
I've only seen the Vertigo (when Liz Johnson used it) and the Xcel Pearl (When Tommy Jones used it). I haven't seen the Xcel particle or the Xxcel. But if I had to select, I would select the Xxcel. The Xxcel is a particle that can handle more oil than the Vertigo. I had a Triple Xtreme and it died on me after 50 games. It just couldn't move in heavy oil like my particle balls (it really needs dry boards to shine). I like the way a particle doesn't over react and rides the oil for a strong reaction to the pocket.
If your looking for control, get the Xxcel.

They'll both handle the oil, but you'll get a stronger/violent backend with the Vertigo since it's reactive. The XXcel is great also, but the backend will slightly more controllable and arcing because it's particle. I've rolled the particle Xcel and actually liked it. Normally solid particles and I don't mesh well.
