getting back into bowling
« on: April 19, 2011, 01:36:32 AM »
hello BR,

my buddy;s dad is getting back into bowling after knee surgery issues that had him sidelined for the past two seasons

he was throwing 15 lbs and figured he needs to drop to 13 until he can get back into the full swing of things,

Looking for a two ball combo. He prefers smooth reaction.

I was thinking Burst and Outburst to compliment (but open to any combo)

He is aiming for September, so we are unsure if he is actually coming back, but if any sellers on here could build a potential package, let me know and I will keep it in mind.

I'm in the process of trying to find out where I fit in the bowling world. I do not know my tech specs of my game, but it's all a learning process.

I would say 2Fast/2Furious. Start with the 2Fast first and if it's not enough then get the 2Furious. I'm sure his ball speed will be on the slower end so the 2fast should be perfect on a THS...

I think those would be way too much for him. I am looking more at Gamebreaker and Freeze combo possibly.

I think you're underestimating the strength of the Gamebreaker and Freeze. They're probably pretty comparable to the 2Fast/2Furious.

2Fast/2Furious is a great combo.  One other combo would be a Rising Star/Nomad Dagger or Nomad Solid.  You can't go wrong with either of these balls.

Dark Star / Riot could also be a good combo.

Hammer Backlash paired with one of the Vibes might also be good.

Too bad the Track series isn't available in 13 pounds or those would be an easy call (300C, 505C/715C).
