It all depends on what your house was like before the resurface and exactly how hard the backends are (how fast they cured). Last year we had our backends done and they were flying until they adjusted the oil pattern a bit and the track got worn in. This year the initial refinish never cured correctly so it was a horror show. They just redid the lanes and only based on a few balls it seems like the backend are extra cured to prove a point, so they are a little tight. Again the house will adjust the shot and a track will get worn in.
I would agree with Smash49...take it easy on the approach for the first ball or two and keep and eye on your slide sole. We always seems to have more particulates on the approaches after a resurface.
