When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

What kind of 10 pins?

Flat or ringing? I'm referring to what the 6 pin does when the ball hits the pocket. If the 6 pin just falls into the gutter and lies there, That's a flat 10. When that happens, your ball may have "hooked out" or "Burned" up and is hitting with no energy. Shell down or increase your ball speed.

If it goes around the 10, (ringing 10) then your ball speed might be too high, causing your ball to come in behind the head pin slightly. Slow your ball speed, change your angle of attack or use a stronger cover.

Watch the 6 pin, it will tell you why you are leaving 10s.

All that is telling you is that you dont have the right entry angle to the pocket. Change lines, balls, speed, axis rotation, tilt, speed, etc. I dont mean this is a rude way at all. I would be more concentrated on thinking of a way to carry it and not to count how many I leave.

get a little more rotation on the ball if you want to solve the problem
or if you are having just the problem on a certain night or certain block on a pattern etc. switch to something a bit more aggressive

moving up and back these's days dont mean squat....  moving deeper ( for more oil )  or going to a weaker ball, or something that retains the energy is what you need...

Or just start using Storm lol....... I leave on a bad nite... 3 ten pins per set... tonight I left 2..

+1. It's all about entry angle and minor adjustments, if you leave 10s on good pocket hits.

Here lately I've been using a Wild Thing and it has been amazing. But when it starts to leave 10 pins I have to change balls. Even with me making adjustments I still leave more then I was when I started the set with that ball. I go to a Revolution that is drilled on the exact same pattern but is stronger/has more angle on the backend and that does it for me.

It also allows me to stay in the same area and line I was playing with out changing anything other then the ball.

More surface should be the answer your looking for.  Either a stronger coverstock ball or putting more surface on your ball should help you out.
