Sticking to one coach, is it something you do? or see other coaches and see what works for you?

I prefer to test the waters and see if things I've learn can or cannot apply to me. OR, to fill in the gaps other coaches missed. Results erases all doubts. I do the same with my work as a technologist.

Also, before MMA took off big time, I studied traditional Okinawan martial arts, but my Okinawan teacher was diff. We learned other arts secretly. It wasn't the norm back in the day to do this. My Okinawan teacher was diff.

He had said this many times:

"there are different types of clouds in the sky, shaped by the winds, yet they are still clouds. Learning a skill or skills, one must have his mind as wide as the sky. Only then can he understand the different clouds in the sky."
