I had both. Definitely liked the Soul way better. Much stronger midland read and more predictable for me.

The Defiant Soul is an awesome solution for our house on the right side.

Our house with a harsh wet dry that has prodigy(creeping oil) that goes downlane quickly and creates an out of bounds at about 38 to 45 feet but has tremendous lane friction in the lane bed at the end of the pattern....

Bowlers who use this ball back their hand out when fresh and then go to straighter with the wrist as carrydown strikes as the night goes on.

The Zero Gravity with it's lower diff core than the Defiant or the original Virtual Gravity has a very strong cover (out of box).

This ball reminds me a lot of my beloved Pyramid Chosen Path except the Zero has a stronger cover in IMHO.

Both great tools.

If golf were an analogy that applies the Zero Gravity is a strong lofted 3 wood.  The Defiant because of the extra push in the coverstock is a strong lofted hybrid!  Stronger core pushier coverstock.

Note I have no strong cored Hybrid in my arsenal as yet to really compare to the Defiant!
