Lane conditions wood ths around 38 feet Drilling 35 degree 4 inch pin to pap 25 degree angle to the val with a low balance hole I bought this ball because I really like my ntense and I was looking for something that would cover as many boards as my ntense but have a little more energy for the the pocket. I wanted to sand this gem up to 4000 and shine it but I figured I might as well throw it a few times at the oob surface which is 1000 dull. And let me just say this I am glad I did because I have never seen a ball with that kind of surface with an agressive drilling that is supposed to make the ball grab the lane early have as much backend as this ball! It has a sharper breakpoint than my virtual gravity which I have sanded at 4000 and shined! And the fact that this ball hits the pocket like a mack truck is nice too. But this ball is a sponge and the surface seems like it needs alot of prep. Other than that I have nothing but good things to say about it. Oh and I would not try to use it on anything dry but that should be obvious. Morules!

60x4x30 Double Thumb drilling, cover is OOB. This ball flat out hooks. Very smooth through the heads and then the ball doesn't stop hooking. This ball out hooks my Jigsaw Corner. Used this ball on the shark pattern and it just opened up the lane for me.

Mania 1 - 45x5x35 p3 (oob 1000)

This ball hooks early on often.  I had 15 in a row and was +247 for four games the first time I used this ball.  I have used this ball on a house shot and on a pattern similar to the 2010 Nationals pattern.

This ball has a pretty even arc to it due to the drilling...

Mania 2 - 60x3x20 p3 (500 grit)

This ball is long but makes a pretty controlled move due to the 3" pin.  This ball was excellent on the pattern similar to the 2010 nationals pattern.

Mania 3 - 55x5x25 (500 grit)

This ball hooks the most of the 3.  It is very long and snappy.  Overall it covers the most boards.

All 3 are easy to get through the heads and retain a lot of energy.  They are more gradual hooking and arcing than the Crazes and Frenzies.  My new favorite heavy oil balls.

My Mania is my first MoRich ball.I am impressed! Drilled mine up with a duel thumb angle layout 61x 31/2 x30 . I am 59 years old, speed dominate player with little hand and 195-210 revs.I like to play down and in the 7-9 board at the arrows.Standing 18-25 depending on the house. My first 3 games was on a THS that does not have a lot of friction at the breakpoint for players who are rev challenged with the box finish Mania made the pocket every time but had little punch to kick the corners. So I changed the surface to 2000 siaair and went to my second house with lots of friction on a THS and shot 300/242/226 for 768. This is my 3rd 300. Oh by the way I had 28 strikes. Thanks Mo Rich!!!!

The Mania is my ball of choice for higher volume and/or longer conditions while the Craze is first out of the bag for the mediums. Out-of-the-box: 15 lbs, 6 oz undrilled with 2.6 oz top weight and a 4 1/4" pin. I mapped this out using Mo's recommendations 25 x 4" x 25 with a P 3.5 weight hole. Using a thumb mold and inserts, my driller hit his marks so the ball fits perfectly. On a fresh THS (36' morning strip and condition followed by an afternoon 30' fill, no strip) the ball is strong but still manages surprisingly good length, even with the 1000-grit FEPA Siaair box finish. Carry down is not a factor and I can't roll the ball past the breakpoint, even with my high tilt and rotation. The ball reminds me of the Ultimate Inferno but with stronger back end and continuation through the pins. The ball doesn't roll out unless I use it way past the onset of track burnout. That said, I’ve been using my MoRich Craze primarily on the house and tournament shots. The Craze 2000-grit surface, higher RG and slower response layout have matched up perfectly, while the Mania at 1000-grit, lower RG and faster response layout has literally been too much ball for the medium and medium-light conditions I frequently encounter. Still, I loved the reaction and carry exhibited by the Mania whenever the lane conditions supported use of a really strong ball. Last week, I hit the 1000-grit surface with a moderate amount of Valentino’s Snake Oil polish. This allows the Mania to be used on a wider range of typical house conditions in the medium to heavy volume and moderate to long length range. This minor surface adjustment transformed my Mania into a more effective piece at the top end of my arsenal: Great hit, carry and repeatability along with good length and excellent recovery. The Awakening core found in the Mania, Craze and Frenzy, is one of my favorites. The Mania’s core/cover combination is an effective match for the higher volumes of conditioner used in many centers. In comparing the Mania to other balls on the market, the Mania is among the strongest pieces available. On the conditions I encounter, it is stronger than the Mission, Virtual Gravity, Cell, Invasion and 3.5. It’s about as strong as the Red Death and is a more versatile alternative to the Mega Friction on all conditions other than a long flood. MoRich is truly on a roll with their recent releases. If you are looking to add a strong ball at the top of your arsenal, do yourself a favor and consider the Mania.

Likes: This is the strongest/best ball that I have ever owned yet it is controlable.  It is the first ball out of my bag for the THS and I can usually go all three games with it (needs oil).
