The Minotaur has a rounded, notched core which produces a later, sharper back-end reaction. Gripper EF coverstock increases the total overall hook.  So now you can attack the pins with a later and sharper break point. The Technical Specs are: Aver RG's: 5.520; Differential: .049; Flare Potential: Large Gripper EF; Coverstock" Motion Tuned Free Form; Core Type: Strongly Enhanced Mass; Core Dynamics: Bias; Ball Structure: Single Density Core, Dual Shell

Must have some hand.  The review he posted on the Minotaur talked of a ball a little stronger than the one I had.  

This minotaur was drilled 3 3/8 X 5.  Which was really nice for when I was practicing but not quite up to the slop I face in league.  Because of the Mass Bias in the Track this ball just didn't quite pop them as hard as I needed in league.  In a more conventional practice shot with a little backend this ball was awesome if the surface whas right for the length oil pattern.

Another minotaur drilled 4 X 4 was the one described in a previous drilling was insanely strong!  Probably what I really needed on my league slop!

To summarize these Mo Rich balls wiht their high mass bias cores are VERY different depending on drilling.  If you need carrydown pop don't drill arc.


I see this ball as very similar to both my very strong NuLine Virus and AMF Evolution Xtra.  They are just drilled stronger and give me a little more in the back, only due to drilling!

Follow up on an earlier review.  Used this ball in league play for the late spring and  absolutely loved it.  The last 9 weeks of league play saw no series lower than 632 with a high series of 796 (269, 228, 299).  Had to put it away for the summer dry-lanes, pulling it out only when tournament conditions demand it.

When my home house put out a virtual flood for the house shot, I went back to Mo to get through it all.  In a 12 game block, I put up scores of 257, 201, 195, 300 in games 9, 10, 11, & 12.  I put together a Veripapa 300 the following week.

Suffice it to say, this ball is staying with me as long as I can use it.

i got the minotaur drilled to go long and snap. i throw this ball on medium oil. this thing hooks and hits like a ton of bricks. if its dry i leave it in my bag. when theres oil on the lanes first ball out of my bag. it is very forgiving. could go right threw the nose and not leave a split. one of my most favorite balls. will stay in my bag for a long time. give this ball a 9-10.

Got this new and undrilled on ebay for a song. Had it drilled up for high track control. GREAT BALL! While I prefer my LM stuff, this is a great ball when the strong arc isn't carrying and you want a bit more of a skid/snap reaction. I use it OOB finish on fresh or heavy oil, and it's also very useful when the track is burned; move to the middle, catch some oil and swing it, and it walks right back and puts 10 in the pit.

As others have stated, Mo knows his stuff when it comes to drilling. The high track control drilling gives great control for my high track delivery. A strong 9 out of 10 in my book!

Got this a couple months ago on Ebay( My first win on there yay).  Only thing i had to do to this ball when i got it was change the thumb and plug the weight hole.  Its drilled pin over bridge and thumb almost inline with the MB ( pretty much almost a straight line down from the pin through the CG to the MB but its a little right of the CG.)  This ball is a monster.  It flat out hooks.  Probably one of my favorite balls i have ever thrown.
