Used this ball yesterday in our City Tournament. All I can say is WOW! I shot 718 on a pair where the second highest score was 608. I'm a regular Joe bowler with a 201 average and have never had a ball like this. I got it 3 weeks ago and have used it a total of 10 series. Five of those 10 series have been 700's. My bowling buddies are all over the proshops trying to locate one of these wood crushing monsters. Thanks MO.

MoRich 'NSane Lev RG
Weight: 15#
Pin Placement: 3-4"
Top Weight: 3.7 oz.

Layout:
3 3/4" Pin from axis, 45 degree MB, with a weight hole drilled 3.5" deep 5" over from mid-grip.

First Impressions:
If backend reaction is what you are desiring, then you need not look any further. The 'NSane LEV RG will fit the bill...very consistent reaction.

Comparison/Contrast:

'NSane LEV RG vs. Black Widow Pearl

To me the BWP gets further down the lane and reads the pattern very clean. The NSL is just pure backend reaction, once it hits dry the ball takes a left turn at a tremendous angle. To me though, I benefit more as the lanes dry out using the BWP, the NSL proves to be too much ball once the heads are fried.

General Thoughts:
As stated in the first impressions part of the review, backend is what this ball is all about. My goal with the layout was to see if it would burn up too much energy up front and fizzle out on the backend but much to my surprise it still continues going once it touches the dry. Very impressive ball to say the least...

Conclusions:
If you need a more stronger ball with continuous backend reaction, then I feel the 'NSane LEV RG is a ball worth looking into.

Ball specs:  2.5 oz top weight 4.5 - 5 inch pin

Ball is laid out for control. Ball fits this to a tee. Consistent roll to the pocket. This is my first night with this ball and I was impressed with the hitting power. I had 665 with one split and a blow. Multiple seven pins due to not making the proper adjustment. This ball will be a strong addition to my arsenal as I have never been able to play this type of shot before.  Morich has a strong product here.   Thanks MO!!!

I drilled this ball after picking it up from a local pro bowler who drilled it for extreme length during tourney conditions.

I tried this ball with this drilling but the ball simply did not make the move / snap I liked so I had it re-drilled.

Had this ball drilled for mid lane read and a softer finish so it would fit between my Mo-Rich Awesome Revs and Mo-Rich Solid Leverage. I find this ball with it's earlier move is best fit for oiler conditions. Most of the time my typical house shot is too dry for this ball. With my surface prep (600 grit sanding) early hook potential of my drilling. I don't have a fully educated opinion on this ball yet at least definitively.

Here is what I have observed:

When the conditions are oily enough or the back ends forgiving enough for me to lay further inside this ball can be a terror to the pins. Because of the drilling combo and surface prep this ball needs oil to set up correctly for optimum carry. If the oil is not there I put this one away.

I've really not bowled enough huge scores with the ball or enough games overall with it to review this ball completely.

High Score - 265
High Series - 660

Will Check back in later for after using this ball more.

Thanks,
Bill Iles

This is my second MoRich ball, Labyrinth was the other. I got it when it first came out at the end of last season, but I just know have gotten to know it better.
Out of the box, this ball was a beast.  I had a hard time keeping it in the pocket, it needed a lot of oil to get it down far enough before facing up to the pocket.
I decided to try some polish, keeping the surface at 4000, and help it down the lane a little bit.
This opened things up for me a lot.  It cut down the overall hook and was more controllable in the backend.
When it hits the pocket with good turns, it's a no doubter.
But, it is a little roll sensitive.  If you don't get good rotation, you'll leave corner pins all day.
The carry is pretty good and overall it's been a nice addition to my arsenal.

If you throw medium-to-strong hand you need to get this ball.  If you are a down-and-in type of bowler don't even think about it-you'll never carry the corner pins.

Use "control drilling" with "Track Clean and Tacky" on Morich balls and you'll dominate.

(Of course different setups and ball cleaners work for different bowler types but we have a group of similar style bowlers who are all using this combination with great success.)

My specs:  Right handed stroker.  Med Rev's (about 300 rpm) and med. ball speed.  My PAP is 5 1/2" X 1/2" up.

I bought the NSane a couple of months ago based on good reviews from a couple different sources.  This ball is 3" pin out, with 3 oz. top weight.  I used MoRich's "control" drilling with a Pin to Pap of 4", and mass bias just below thumbhole.  There is a small weighthole on the axis point.

My normal leagues are bowled on synthetic lanes, with a 39' low volume THS.

My overall experience with this ball has been pretty negative.  With this drilling, I find very little ball reaction on this house shot.  I felt like the ball was giving up axis rotation too fast, and just didn't have any reaction down lane.  When I hit the pocket, the carry is poor.  A lot of flat tens, which is what you would expect for a ball that is burning up too fast.  Attributing the lack of reaction and hit to the low volume of oil in the heads, I have tried polish on top of the factory finish, with no luck.  I have also tried playing a deeper line, and slower speed, again with little result.  I have my best reaction with this ball if I really come around it, and develop a more 90 degree rotation release, and have had a decent reaction.  But, this is not my normal release, and the ball is very sensitive to variations in release.  If I throw it harder, the ball revs nice, but just goes straight.

I recently bowled in a tournament conducted on a 40' sport condition, with heavy oil in the heads.  I thought this ball might work well on this condition, with the heavy head oil,  but again I found just a general inconsistent reaction and extreme sensitivity to my release.  If I slowed speed way down, I was able to get a nice back end reaction--sometimes.  If I missed the bottom a little, or didn't come out completely clean, the shot had no chance.  Some of that was the sport condition, but I was able to switch to other equipment and get away from that degree of sensitivity.

I usually play around with this ball in warm up, and maybe the first game of league, just to see if I can get something going with it, but almost always put it away.  By comparison, I use a Cell Pearl on this house shot, and the ball is a complete monster.

I'll probably plug this ball and try a different drilling.  I hate to spend $$$ on a ball, and not be able to use it, but I'm afraid this ball may be in that category for me.

Punched another Lev RG (4" pin, stacked) and shot a 279 out of the box, applied Clean n'Tacky and shot 767 (289-stoned an 8 in 11th) in league right after.  When this ball gets dirty it immediately stops carrying corner pins, so, be sure to clean it (on a spinner) every 4-6 games.

I have had my 16lb Nsane Levrg since February 2008 and i would have to say it has been a great ball for me.I am 49 years old have a 200 average i can put some hand in the ball when i need to but also like to stroke it with lots of speed. The drilling is for control and i keep it 4000 grit dull but i have polished it which makes it work better on drier lanes. The Nsane still revs up very hard and if you throw it to fast or with to much fingers you will get tapped a lot.If you stroke the ball and throw it on balance the ball will usually strike or leave a 10 pin but when it does half the time it will send an atomic messanger across the deck to clear it out.I usually use the ball in league on a fresh shot the ball has no problem cutting thru medium heavy oil and only a swamp will stop it.This is my third Morich ball i also have a Shock and Awe and a Seek and Destroy and overall i would say Morich makes very good balls. This is my first review i will review my Ebonite Playmaker Lane 1 Agent Orange soon.

I have to say this ball is awesome.I drilled my nsane with the pin 3 1/2x35x45 with a 1" weight hole in the p2 position with 4000 abralon with no polish. It is very clean through the fronts with a medium transition and very continous at the breakpoint. The thing i like alot is the way the ball goes through the pins.Compared to the levrg response the nsane is cleaner through the fronts and much firmer at the breakpoint.Great job MO.

When I first bought this ball, I wasn't to happy with the overall hook and the carry because I was comparing it to the Ntense LevRg that I was already using and scoring well with it.  Three week ago I took the Nsane with me to practice and it performed well.  I left a few ten pins but I was able to control this ball better than I could control my Ntense. I used my Nsane in both of my THS leagues for the last two weeks and my 200+ average in both leagues has gone up in each of them.  In brief, I love this ball more than I love my Ntense.  Both are great balls.
