I've had this ball since last spring.
The ball is set up like this:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y125/A_Good86/Seek.jpg?t=1166051045

I have found the ball to be versatile playing both in and out.
I've had the surface scuffed down in May with a burgundy pad for a 44' pattern very similar to shark on the pba.  I found that even with this much surface the ball wanted to lope too much in the midlane and was too aggressive off the end of the pattern.  When the shot broke down it was better, but not the best ball for such a tight pattern.
Optimal finish I found was to take it to around 1000 grit for easier patterns.
It has been good at providing a hard, yet even arcing motion on house patterns and midlength sport patterns (38-40 feet)

It hits well, but nothing ridiculous.  The big advantage with this ball is that you can play on a variety of patterns and find success.

I'd strongly suggest this ball to league bowlers that only carry a couple balls to league as it is very versatile and consistent on your typical 40' house patterns.  Especailly for those players that like to lay the ball down early and roll it.
I will not suggest this ball to tournament bowlers with a big arsenal of 6 or more balls because this ball is good on a variety of patterns but not spectacular on a particular shot.  There are other balls out on the market that hook more and earlier as well as others that hit harder and turn the corner more.

Overall a good ball for your typical league bowler.  This is a ball that will keep you out of trouble on a good variety of conditions, and provides both a nice midlane and backend read, but isn't strong enough upfront to give you too much trouble getting the ball through the front.  A blue chipper if you only plan on carrying 2 or 3 balls to league or a tournament.

got it used off ebay. had been drilled already like 3 times but i still thought i would try it. hated this ball at first. after sanding it down to 600 grit i love this ball. revs up nice later down the lane, seeks its target and destorys it. this ball puts away the pins in the blink of an eye! i love the angular hooking motion and none stop backend this ball has with the 600 grit finish that it didnt have when i first got it. have bowled pretty consistantly with this ball. if i had the extra money to spend would buy another one.

MY 2ND SEEK AND DESTROY WILL KILL'EM ALL

SPECS: Pin is over the bridge mass bias out about 1 inch PAP is 5 1/2 inches out possibly more it is hard to tell.

Mountain Bay Lanes: Oil has varied alot over the course of the season but when I have used S&D out there this has what it has been like, med oil 10-10 with a little more on the outside past about 7 and it is a runaway train. S&D was a little to much for this pattern even with the out of bounds which I sent the ball into trying to get it to get back into the 1-3 pocket and out of the 1-2. When I found the line it looked like this about 22 at the arrows and WAY out to about 5 at the break. Ball had more lenght as my other S&D but this one is
much stronger off the break due to the pin being up, just screamed hard into the pins everything was acedemic after that... nothing was standing. It is a shame that the ball was this strong it would have been great to use early in the night out there.

Super Bowl: Synthetic with a goofey new oil pattern relatively light all the way across the lane not flat per say but far closer than most league pattern I have seen. Needless to say I was hooking it alot with this ball. Played 18-20 at the arrows and 8-10 at the break point for the best results overall though the only thing the ball did consistently on this pattern was hook the lightness of the pattern made the ball read goofey like most of the modern stuff did at this house this season. I simply tried this ball at this house to see what would happen I knew it would not work very well stuck with on old Ti Surge for my best scores.

Comparison to my other Seek and Destroy: Its specs go like this: Pin is level with my fingers and mass bias is out 2 1/2 inches PAP is 5 inches out. S&D number 1 is earlier and smoother than the 2nd one simply because the drilling is different the 1st one is better on a medium shot and the 2nd one is a little more effective on oil that is a little heavier, the 2nd one is a real monster actually much stronger than I thought it would be.

OVERALL: Seek and Destroy live up to its name how can a ball with the same name as a Metallica song could be bad? This is one of my favorite balls to use works well on anything heavy as long as it is not a flood. Great versatility the 1st one I like to use when there is a heavier medium pattern on the lanes. Seek has a great reaction and that reaction stays with the ball for a long time it doesn't go away like some companies out there. Great hitting power all around with this ball pins are just obliterated by this ball great carry.
MoRich all the way Baby!

Brother Specs:
Axis Tilt: 24 degrees
Ball Speed: 17-18 MPH
Rev Rate: 300-325.
Brother needed a ball for heavy oil. This was a great choice. Laid out
35*3 3/8"*35. Ball has great midlane roll with an extremely strong backend. Back end is a strong move at the breakpoint with a lot of roll to the pocket.

Another Great ball by Mo this ball is not really over powering or hard to control. I love the way it reacts, it goes about 35ft and makes the smoothest arc to the pocket I have ever seen. I start about middle and throw to the 3-5 board and this thing just arcs to the pocket nice to the pocket and doesn't over react when it hits the dry. So far its the smoothest ball I've used by Mo and probably be in my bag for years to come! BTW my first game with this ball was a 254, very consistent reaction and easy to predict!!

I was very impressed with the reaction of the Seek and Destroy. It goes long and snaps back hard to destroy the pocket. Also this ball is very easy to control, and hardly ever leaves me any ten pins. Another great ball from Morich.

I am a 14-15mph high track stroker... 200-205 average.
I recently used my S&D on fresh THS to roll a 298 game with a 767 series (last ball a bit slow... through the nose)... and I never had to move an inch. I was most impressed with the consistency and forgiveness. I tried to lower it to 500 abralon to use on heavier oil but so far I am not liking the reaction... will return it to out-of-box condition for medium oil and keep it there for a while.

Great ball and a great price (now that it is over a year old)

Great control on everything but burnt lanes. Carry is phenominal and can control the pocket on everything i bowl on. Ball is drilled 5 1/2" x 4"mb with pin 3" above midline. Pin above and to right of ring finger. Have had the ball for about 2 months now and no sign of the ball quitting. Havent shot anything below 200 with it. Even when i know im not throwing well, the ball still manages to carry well and give me a consistant reaction.

Not as aggressive as the newer high performance balls but has a pretty good reaction and reads the lanes really well.  Good ball for medium to heavy oil but will take off on you in the dry stuff.  Like most particle balls this ball sucks up oil so you must keep it clean.  This ball has maintained its reaction over time and hits like a truck.  This is a very consistent ball with a lot of power.
