Another winner for Mo.   Drilled this ball for aRight Handed  high track player  5 1/2> x 1/2^

Did not use any of the prescribed drillings as I was afraid the player wouldn't be able to control the ball.   If you look at the ball you would think the ball is a left hander   Pin under Middle Finger CG kicked to the Left  Mass Bias in the bowlers normal track.

The ball likes lots of oil Once it hits the dry it is going left. If the bowler does not hit the ball it tens to clip the middle finger but there is no real effect on the roll other than the noise  If the Player properly executes the shot the track moves away from the fingers.   Very tight flare.   The ads dont lie  you can hear the difference when the ball hits the pins.

This is my frist test of a Mo-Rich ball, I was looking for something strong out of the box to use on a flatter tourament type condition, I did not find that but found something much better in this ball.  Out of the box it was way to strong on any league type condition, on the flatter tourament type shots it was good for about 3 games before it started to lose its stong recovery reaction.  The ball absoutly does not like swing, the straighter the great with this one.

Conditions Bowled On

• Shot 1 - Fresh 36' Medium house block. Maybe 30 units in center of lane and bone dry outside of 7. Buffed to 40' with screaming backends. Synthetic lanes.
  


• Shot 2 - Chopped up (second shift) 38' medium house block. The first shift started out with 45 units in center of lane and bone  dry outside of 5. Buffed to 42' with slight carrydown. Synthetic lanes.
  


• Shot 3 - Fresh medium heavy 38' shot.  Buffed out to 42' or 44'. Around 60 units in the center and at least 10 at the gutters.  No dry boards whatsoever to bounce off of. Synthetic lanes.
  

General impressions

This is a very powerful and smooth rolling ball with this drill.  Its Performance in the heads amazed me.  It just seemed float through the heads with the box finish, started reading nicely in the midlane and arced hard to the pocket at the breakpoint.  On all three shots, the ball hit like Mike Tyson on crystal meth and provided amazing continuation at the pin deck. It just sounded different.

The ball was also very responsive to adjustments in hand position in rev rate.  Small adjustments produced small and easily readable changes in reaction.

This is not just an oil ball.  It works well on a heavier shot, but it also works very well on all the mediums. With the layout I had, you needed some head oil, though.


Shot 1

Started out trying to play down the 10 board but went brooklyn every time.  Someone with more speed than may could probably have made this line work.  Moved in a bit and played 20 at the arrows to 8 at the breakpoint and I was off to the races.  Got a strong arc at the breakpoint and just crushed the pocket.  Light hits, high flush, middle of the pocket, it just didn't seem to matter. I saw multiple messengers when I didn't even need one. Want a stronger move? Rev it up a little more.

Shot 2

The league before us blew away everything outside of 12 so I started out playing 18 at the arrows.  This worked for about one game, and then I needed to move left.  The problem was that the other team had three major crankers who started out at 24, so there was wasn't a heck of a lot of room to move.  I threw it for 4 more frames and then found myself in "tweener hell", so I had to bag it. Also, the ball appeared to completely ignore the carrydown we had.

I'm not kidding people. Hide your women, children and small pets, because this ball is an absolute monster on this type of shot. I started out playing straight up 10.  I got the following reaction:float, float, rev, arc, BOOM!  The carry was amazing.  I don't think I left a single 10 pin in 3 games.  I did, manage to leave a few nines, though.  This ball just doesn't deflect much at all.  Only had to move 6 boards all night.

The ball has so many markings on it, it makes you look like your revving it like Robert Smith


Overall

Another great one from MoRich.  Usable by just about anyone.  Extremely versatile and controllable.  Unbelievable hit and continuation.

Got this to replace a defective track rule. So far I like it. Out hooks my ebonite xcel. Can't tell the difference in sound but as hard as I through (20+mph) it's no wonder.

Holy $#!t, this ball is unreal.... with some tweaking.
I chose an agressive, but not crazy layout for this ball because I respected that fact that this ball just looks like it was going to hook at my toe... and thats what it did out of the box.  I put it away for a few weeks, was even going to sell it.  I went to practice and pulled this off of my rack in my room and decided to work with this ball and give it some serious attention.
I brought the surface UP to 1000 Abralon, to try and get a little more smooth reaction out of the ball.  It's been uphill with this ball ever since.  The ball revs up in the early part of the lane, but with a smoother surface it delays the roll causing a more even roll and hard backend push.  On a wet/dry overwall I had a problem out of the box with it rolling out when it touched dry too early.  Since I've smoothed out the surface I've seen a drastic improvement in the overall performance of this ball.  740 in the next league session after my coverstock adjustment.
To those of you who bashed this ball for hooking early, don't give up on it. DO NOT SHINE THIS BALL!!! Bring it UP to 1000 Abralon or 1200 wet sand.  If you have to, use a light coat of Storm #2, which brings the balls from 400 to 1500 sanded.  Don't use too much compound, or the ball will shine too much.  But try to get your pro shop operator to smooth the surface out for you.
The ads don't lie, this ball smashes through the pins.  My first of many MoRich balls.

This is the best heavy oil ball I've ever thrown. It's by far better than my Raging Inferno on really tight lanes, but the inferno is still the best medium to heavy oil ball ever. I think the color of this ball is awsome even though some say it's ugly. But that's when you ask them if a prettier colored ball helps you knock pins better than my ugly ball. That's when they usually walk away. Overall the best ball made by Morich today. Morich Rules!
