Morich OnSlaught.....
« on: September 05, 2006, 06:48:30 AM »
What was this ball originally designed for for lane conditions? If this ball was made for medium light oil then this will be a great ball to put under everything in my bag.

Thanks in advance.

Alright. Seeing the lane conditions i am right now this fall season, this ball will not see any use. I have to use my heavy oil ball as my rampage, smokin, and vapor zone all cant seem to grip the lane. If those cant recover then theres no way this one will work out. Im a 17-18mph cranker. I might as well sell it.

I don't mean to nitpick, but which is correct?  You just stated you're a cranker, but your profile says you throw 100-275 rpm.  I assume that the rev rate thing was a joke or something?  Otherwise, having a medium-low/low rev rate with that ball speed (assuming it's at the deck) would make you very speed dominant, so you would need aggressive equipment to get the ball to move properly.

100-275 is just a guess, I have no idea what my revs are. Ive have people tell me im not a cranker and ive had other tell me i have the most revs out of everyone at the house so I dont know what i have  for a rate. The other equipment I have was working very well in another house, the house Im at now for the winter is using alot more oil then anyone expected. Last fall my Rampage and Vapor Zone were what I used all season and all summer, now that the house changed the THS pattern from 39' 8-8, its now 41' 5-5.

I do plan on getting on the cats system sometime this winter to find out more about my game, right now all I know is ball speed and PAP. The rev rate is a guess, I dont think I have a lot of rotation on the ball but ive been told otherwise.

general, I have a Scorchin Inferno and thats been the main ball out of my bag the last 3 nights of leauge. Even that ball (drilled to hook) almost has a hard time hooking up in the oil. I watch the top 3 bowlers in the house, they are all playing 5-10 boards left then they are used to, and ive heard them say this.
