Also, what are the colors going to be on it?
I know that I have 2 REVS and the colors are really different. One is almost a solid blue with swirls of the other colors. While the other ball is almost a solid yellow with swirls towards the bottom of the ball.

The only Revs I have seen so far is in my pro shop on the shelf, and it is 80% red, with just a minor yellow and blue streak.

Here's a picture of mine, mostly yellow, with some red and blue. I couldn't of asked for a better color scheme.

That looks really cool, bet it looks great going down the lane. But mine has more yellow. When I first opened the box, I thought they sent the wrong ball cause of all the yellow. Kind of looked like a yellow house ball.

Unfortunately is hasn't been drilled yet, proshop on a two week vacation. I knew the possibility for an odd color ball, and I luck out because this is what I wanted. I was hoping to get the same luck with the Finish, but it is mostly typical looking with a small section of color smearing. I've added the Finish to the photobucket.

That looks cool! Mine is 75% blue, 20% red and 5% yellow.....looks nothing like yours!

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

Your Finish looks cool, too. Me and a friend are still waiting for ours to be shipped to the continent (seemed to missed a container), and I wonder what ours are going to look like? The Finish is by far the "loudest" ball I have seen in a while.

I'd like to talk about how the new ball looks, but I haven't seen it yet.

WOW look at that core.
And that picture makes it look ugly as sin...but that's obviously not a good pic so I will save my opinion for later.
Sweet.

Hmmm, looks to me like a Vanguard core with just a fat flip cap to create more asym. diff.?
I suppose that it will lokk much like an XXcel, juding the color description. But a nice find, thank you for the post!

It is a Vangaurd core. It is 23% larger with a with a "continuation block". I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a "brand new" core that was kinda hinted at in the past and that it was just modified. Overall though I do have to admit it sounds like it will be a successful release.

I am fine with it, the Vanguard as it is is still stronger than 90% of the other cores out there, so this will probably be the strongest by far on the market I simply can't wait to give it a shot.

Just out of curiosity. Where do you folks bowl where you need a ball this strong ?? I bowl in the Northeast and we have no where near the oil to use a ball like this, unless your ball speed is over 21mph with no hand. Most of us use high pins with high polish.
I am not picking on anyones game, just like to know what part of the country puts down a lot of oil.
-
I won't buy it, just for this reason. Currently, with lighter oil and shorter patterns, I even cannot use my S&A at OOB at the moment, it just burns up...

I've used my AH on every one of the PBA patterns that I've thrown on. Also, use it on league play. And I do average about 21 mph... Usually don't have to swing it a ton though. Although...

Well I don't know if you do Tournements or stuff like that but then you can use stuff that is this strong from time to time. I personlly would buy one then put some polish on it and use it in league I don't know yet, but I usually think of something to do with them.

The Vanguard is the strongest core in bowling. I'd really have to get a better picture of the new core to draw conclusions as to how similar it is to the vanguard. As far as who will be able to use this ball, it has been rehashed with every hook monster that Mo releases. The TS&A, S&D, AH, and even AR to an extent have encountered this criticism. Yes, if you drill the ball strong, you will have to be bowling on a great deal of oil to be in play, or have no hand. The beauty of asymetrical equipment is that you can put the pin at about 2 1/2" from your pap and have a good all around ball that can be fine tuned with mass bias placement.

The color is kind of like a swirled purple and black. It can be seen on BrunsNick's Bowl Expo vid.

Wow! Can't wait to get one in my hands... What's the release date?
-
Is that ball yours? If so, can you divulge the layout and how it reacted with reference to all that other morich stuff that you have?

Also what was it polished with?
-
so how much stronger is this ball then the awesome hook?
-
I bowl on extremely low volume harsh wet dry pattern and we had some players WAX up their WMB(vanguard core) and tear up this pattern with only medium speed and the hard hitting Vanguard core.
They have not been as successful since they moved to other balls and drillings.
