QUESTION
« on: October 08, 2006, 12:47:52 PM »
OK, I have a MORICH ONSLAUGHT and I can not seem to get it to hook on medium lanes. I can take my PYRO and throw the same speed (16-17) and mark ( around 10) and it will hook. Is there something with this coverstock vs the lanes condition (medium) and that is the reaso that I am not getting hook? Also, when was this ball first released? I got mine used (free) and am trying to find out all I can about it. Does anyone experience this with the ONSLAUGHT or am I just throwing it on the wrong conditions?

T.J.

BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.

STRIKE ZONE & PYRO. STAND 15 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND SMASH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...

AGREED....

I loved my onslaught until a ball return decided to eat it.  That ball was fabulous.  You probably didnt have it drilled exactly for you.  Yes you need to put it in the hook again.  Maybe scuff the surface a bit and polish it back.  Probably could stand to check the layout as well.

Have the drill on your ball checked - as with any strong MB ball, these need to fit to your game well and are more prone to react weird/poor when the setup does not match your specs (PAP, speed, revs).

A resurfacing and/or oil extraction might also pep up performance - but when the drilling is wrong for you, you won't have much fun with the ball.

The ball is not too old, I guess it was launched in 2003 and was discontinued in early 2005 or late 2004?
