Don't have a clue to be honest. I have not drilled a Dyno ball for anyone since the Anomoly......but what I do know is I have drilled about a dozen Revs and per Slopsurprise "THAT BALL IS MONEY"....he says that about every time we talk...he drove 4 hours to see me and I guess it was worth it!

They're both particle pearls.  That's about where the similarity ends.  Traditionally Brunswick and Columbia have manufactured different materials for their 'particle'.  The guys on the D/T forum state a very small particle with more of a blended resin on the Threshold.  Brunswick typically uses a larger particle.  The Revs appears to be more of a traditional particle pearl with a more aggressive coverstock.  And much more aggressive motor (core) as well.

Hope this helps,

I know Mo uses what he describes as small, egg-shell-like particles next to traditional Brunswick boulder-like particles.
