Ravage..what a ball
« on: June 23, 2005, 07:43:31 AM »
Even though I do not really like equipment from different companies besides storm, I got a ravage for a lot drier of a house than I usually bowl at.  I've used this ball pretty exclusively at the drier house since getting it.  So far this summer I have shot 715, 635, 682, 578 (11 single pins), 687, and 770 last night.  I missed the pocket one time and left a 4-7..This ball reads the midlane extremely well and rolls hard without overreacting.  I have the pin directly above the fingers and the cg kicked out 1/4" and the rad kicked out also in a straight line with the cg.  I had the front eight, ten pin, double then the 4-7 for 277. The second game I left two solid 7s and a solid 8, and a solid ten the first ball in the tenth.  The third game had the front five, solid ten pin, second ball in the tenth frame, another solid ten pin.  I bowled 770 and the next highest series from me on my team was 568.

I think that morich equipment matches extremely well with this particular bowling alley hence why I'm getting a Shock and Awe and a Total Shock and Awe...
Bored thought I'd post about this...have a good one

It's the core folks!!  Not the strongest of Mo's creations....but probably THE MOST versatile!  Look how many variations of that exact shape have been in balls lately........ A LOT !

Colossus...Hercules...Mayhem...Ravage...T/A ......it's a more 'forward rolling' core at the spot...meaning...it's much easier to make one of these cored balls charge forward instead of going sideways at the break ......

One of the many reasons I have 2 Hercules....and considering another couple balls from this core line....it may be a better core FOR MY GAME than the Vangauard core.....

Jeff,

Give a look at the OnSlaught before they are all gone!
Really a nice piece. Vanguard core has me mystified some days also.

Vanguard core doesn't have me mystified,...I like my WMB...don't have enough games on my S&A to make a determination..but like what I've seen...

But me lOoooooooooooooooooooves the Hercules core!!

Yes...Onslaught has that core too....never thrown that one..just the Herc from that era......

Having a high track and minimal tilt has made my RavII the best of my Mo pieces.  I like my WMB, but I just like the way the Rav transistions at the point.

BINGO!!

My ravage is pin straight over between my fingers with the cg and mass bias kicked out 1/4"...I bought this ball used from dave300 pretty much for the specific purpose of throwing it at this house cause I knew it was drier than my home house shot.  I can throw my original x-factor but its too skiddish for it...

Hercules vs Onslaught.

Onslaught for lighter? hercules for heavier?  Or just cover adjustment makes same?
