How does this ball compare to the Shock and Awe? Looks like they are very similar.

pretty similar, but i believe the core is a little bigger, and the flip cap is on the top versus the bottom for the S&A, so it goes a little longer, but hooks sharper in the backend.

The only difference between them is the core, the AF has an additional flip puck in it. Coverstock material (Activator+) and surface prep (600 grit compound) are the same. Drilled the same, the AF should have a lightly harder breakpoint and maybe a touch more length, but I think the difference will not be that much.

I would agree with Precision, longer and stronger without a doubt. AF will cover a few more boards, especially with the Asy. Flip drill. Awesome ball!!!

you won't be disappointed, Because the flip cap is on the top versus bottom, it'll go through the mids better and store more in the backend.  And it hits hard, very hard.

I drilled a Awesome Flip and it became my go to ball for anything medium.  It gets down the lane well and has a very sharp break.  I recently drilled the vapor zone and its a great compliment.  When the Awesome flip becomes erratic at the breakpoint pull out the vapor zone and start pounding the pocket.  If one were to go from AI to VZ to AF each step there would be slightly less hook, more length, and a sharper breakpoint.

Overall the AF is the strongest in comparision to the shock and awe and the vapor zone.
