I have a friend who bought a levrg it has about a 1 inch pin the cg is kicked about half inch to the left. He has slower ball speed around 14mph has medium revs. He wants this ball drilled to have a descent backend movement If we try to put pin above the fingers it puts us drilling into the cg for the ring finger. What should I try for him what do you think about the layout in the pic how would that react you think

How much top weight does the ball have?

definatley stacking the pin and the cg to the right of the ring finger along with lining the mass bias up with cg and pin as well will give you more of a snappy skid flip reaction. my levrg is drilled the way i have explained aboved and it rolls so well with great powerful backend along with the typical heavy roll a asymetrical nucleus will give you. playing with the surface as well will help this ball come alive and give you a great result for those players who dont have the huge wrist that traditional crankers do...
good luck

Wow... a layout for a MoRich ball that completely fails to take into account the bowler's PAP.
That's a step in the wrong direction.
If you want backend movement out of a LevRG you better find enough oil to get it to maintain energy down lane, pretty much regardless of the layout.
With 2.7 oz. of TW this ball is a little easier to work with since if the CG is close to the fingers, the fingers can be drilled deeper to remove the excess finger weight.
If his PAP is a normal one of lets say, 5 1/4" over and 1" up, I'd suggest putting the pin in the ring finger and keeping the MB at 70 degrees. Sure wish the pin out was larger and we had more info.

Well, he bought absolutely the last ball for someone with slow speed wanting some back end. The 1" pin certainly doesn't help. Message KOTM or find someone very knowledgeable about strong asymmetric cores to find a suitable layout.

We ended up doing a 45 degree mass bias and 35 degree val with a 1.5 inch pin buffer it put the pin underneath the ring finger and the mass bias down about 3.5 inches to the right and below the thumb. The balls flare rings are almost right on top of each other it doesnt have alot of flare
