Mayhem Mini-Review

All i have to say is "WOW"

Mine finally came in today w/ about a 2.5inch pin and decent top weight. Drilled it for teh sharp breakpoint for a medium track. Used in in tryouts for the hs team today for the 2nd half of the 2nd and part of the 3rd game.

All i have to say is WOW. This is DEFFINETLY an OIL ball (exactly what i wanted). Not a medium oil ball not a medium heavy ball, but true heavy oil. This ball wants to hook... a LOT and you don't have to make it. In fact the more you try the less reaction you get. Go figure, hit the ball more to flatten it out.

When the lanes started drying out, yes even a lone lefty can do this, the ball was a little over under and hard to read. Had to switch to a more controllable ultimate inferno drilled for control. BUt boy when this thing found the pocket did it HIT. Things flew everywhere. Did leave a few splits and 6 pins due to the sharp backend. This ball will definetly like carrydown or longer oil to tame the backend.

Well that's my observations after about a game. I'll be throwing it on our fresh highschool shot tomorrow and post again after i get a few more games on it.
