Has anyone seen a real man throw a Ravage?
« on: June 13, 2004, 04:24:13 AM »
Since it's PK 18 based I'm very interested.  However I've only seen a full roller and a fluffer with about 6 ravs throw this ball.  I can't even get a read off of it to see how it would match up for me.  Has anyone seen any higher rpm players use this?  and what kind of reaction did it yeild?

I have drill one for a pretty good player in Jersey. He throws it about 19-21 MPH and has Rev rate of 400-450. I layed it out with 2 1/4 PAD 6 1/4 MBD and pin 1 3/4 above Midline. This ball did not finshed on the back end. it just rolled and stopped. Maybe King of the mill or Morich could chime in on this one?

I have drilled up the Ravage for two players.  The first is a righty with a 340 rev rate and a 20+ ball speed.  He is able to move five boards right in comparison to his Inferno and rip the racks.  All that power that he has, the ball saved for the last 10 - 12 feet and makes a wicked left move in the back.  He feels it is the best ball he has ever thrown.  The other bowler is a lefty tweener with a 240 rev rate and a 15 MPH.  He plays very straight and the ball walks into the pocket and carries well.  Both bowlers avaerage over 220.  I would recommend this ball to anyone.

Yep, I have to agree with what you typed.  A bowling partner of mine purchased one, which I was curious to see.  It did the exact same thing you typed.  About 10-12 feet before the pins and made a WICKED turn!!!!  Only issue he had was with ball speed.
