Title: MOjave drill options
Post by: bowler851 on February 12, 2010, 04:23:14 AM
For those who have drilled one up or thrown one looking for drilling suggestions. I am a stroker around 15mph what I am looking for in this ball is to be able to play the extreme outside.

the mojave is real good ball, but we all hate to tell you how to drill it because we don't know your tilt, speed, rev rate, etc. If you haven't drilled it yet I would suggest you put your specs in a forum at http://forum.bowlingchat.net/index. One of the guys there will answer your question

My Mojave is drilled 70* x 2-1/2" x 50*, no weight hole, surface at 4000 Abralon.  I really like this layout when the lanes dry out, as I can move right and play straighter angles.  The ball will roll early and have a very controlled response to the friction downlane.  It doesn't jump when it hits dry and the roll is very continuous.
