Who here likes their Awesome Revs? How is it drilled and what conditions does it work on? Reaction shape? Thanks.

The reaction shape seems to vary a lot based on how you drill it and how you release a ball.  However, since the pearl coverstock does have particle in it, it will be smoother and a little earlier than a standard pearl.  I don't know the numbers on the drilling on mine (we used the dual angle layout technique), but the pin is about 1/2" right and barely above the ring finger, MB just barely right of the thumb.  My PAP is roughly 5 1/4 over by 1/4" up.  For me, this is a very hard rolling layout.  The ball picks up a strong roll and just keeps driving, very continuous.  It's great for playing the lanes a little more direct with higher speed on moderately oily conditions, or getting left and opening up the lanes on a dry condition, especially when the shot gets over/under or the backends are flying.  In the span of about 6 weeks, it got me a 300 and a couple 260somethings (front 9, light 8-10 one time.  The other time, strike, chop the bucket, and go off the sheet).  I've since hit mine with 2000 abralon after the cover started getting a little broken in and it gives me about the same look as I had out of the box.

Control and more control is what it is about. Has a decent move for a ball of this nature but, you will have to put it away when you want to play deeper with it. It will not make enough of a turn. It has a big rolling reaction. It is a great ball for flying backends that are hard to control otherwise.

I would have to agree about playing deep with this ball. I need to stand 18 and throw between 8-10 at the arrows. If i move any mroe left the ball either does not get back or has nothing left when it hits the pocket. I can move right without a problem, but moving left is not an option with this ball.

But this ball is outstanding when I can stand 18 or right of that.

I have used the Awesome Revs once on lanes where the backends were absolutely flying, and the lanes were hooking a lot in general.  I don't have much hand, but even I was hooking the snot out of the ball that night.  I stood basically in the left gutter and threw about 17 at the arrows out to 4 or 5 at the breakpoint, and the Awesome Revs came screaming back and just killed the pins.  Shot a 266 doing that.  The ball was great for helping control those flying backends, even though it had to hook a ton to do it!

I have mine with the pin right between and above my fingers. I have mine down to 1000 and I have a pretty sharp breakpoint considering the particle part and the dull surface. I can only throw this on flooded lanes or longer sport shots. My mom has one with OOB and pin below her fingers. Hers is a lot more arcy but she doesnt have half the amount of hand as me. Also Mo told me that this is the most versitale ball in the line right now. He told me if I brought it down to 500 it would be equal to my Awesome Hook and if I polished it, it would be equal to my Ravage. Hope this helps.

I have owned a Revs and also 3 different ravage's. The revs polished will not do anything close to what the Ravage can do. Yeah, you may be able to use it on the same condition but, the shape will not even be close and the revs might cover half the boards of the Ravage at best. Mo can put that in his pipe and smoke it.

Oh, I still think the Ravage is by far the best Polished (I am including the rough buff balls) ball he has ever made.  I have not tried the Nsane or whatever it is though. The Ravage is the ONLY Mo ball I have been able to play deeper than middle arrow with and the ball still recover and hit.
