Title: Onslaught Question
Post by: longsmb on December 13, 2005, 03:25:57 PM
I am wondering if the Onslaught would fit in anywhere in my arsenal. I am going to be getting a S&D for christmas. I currently have a Depth Charge drilled similar to Layout #3 on the drill sheet with no extra hole, and a Srceamin' Banshee drilled with the pin 5" from my PAP and about 2" above my bridge with the cg stacked, no extra hole. Thanks in advance and all comments are appreciated.

Updated my profile. More than likely I would use this ball for Medium conditions. Something to go between my Depth Charge and my Sreamin'. I will more than likely get drilling suggestions from my pro shop guy since he deals a lot with MoRich stuff.

although it is discontinued it can still be purchased from Morich providing you or your pro shop is a core tech member, the TA, WMB,Onslaught, Mayhem and Ravage in selected weights.

My pro shop guy is a core tech member and he is going to be getting a couple pretty soon. If it won't fit in anywhere with what I already have, then it might be able to take the place of my depth charge since I have had it for a while.

the DC will roll earlier with more recovery than the Onslaught due to the core numbers, based on the same drilling layouts and general nature of the balls. I've had the Onslaught and it was a great ball for me, it is still being used today, by another bowler.

I have an eye on the Onslaught, too. Found some here in an online pro shop and wonder where it fits. From the specs the Onslaught sounds well suited for medium/lighter conditions, with good traction for wet/dry transition zones?

I'd like one as an alternative to my Shock & Awe when the lane is played down, or for a short THS I frequently play on. Specs are in profile... maybe I could get some comments, too?
