Shock & Awe color
« on: April 02, 2005, 12:31:10 PM »
I just received my S&A today and it is all blue.  There may be a small speck of Salmon on the bottom of the ball but for the most part it is 99.9% blue.  Just wondering if anyone else has this kind of coloring.  Thanks....JS

All 4 that I have seen are swirled. Blue/Copper(salmon) mixed together. Yours sounds unique, good for you.

some salmon colored streaks in mine.  Another bowler has one and his streaks are nearly red!  go figure

mine looks just like my absolute. it's almost all blue, but in one section it has the exact colors of the absolute inferno. Great ball so far.

There is one sitting in my local shop and its mostly blue but it is swirled there is a little red/salmon/copper whatever, but it is about 85% or 90% blue I would say.

JS,

I'd guess that the surface of mine is 80-90% blue; most of the rest has some spots of "salmon", with maybe two 3" streaks of salmon.

Most balls shown in advertising will look better on paper than when you are looking directly at the ball. This is to get your taste buds to water. Most all of the S & A I have seen are 95% blue with a dash of salmon color. My personal Shock & Awe is that way with a splash of salmon in one area, and a few dots elsewhere. The display ball has even less salmon coloring.
