Is there really a difference between the two?

One cannot be sure... some Ravage derivated have a coverstock called "Hybrid", even pearl. I'd suspect that they are more than just color versions of the original solid PK18 Ravage.
 
A friend of mine has a Ravage IV, and this one fits nicely between a Sahara and a S&A. Arcing, though, despite being a pearl reactive.

and I suppose 123bowl.com has them in the overseas balls section, although you will no0t find sufficient information about the coverstocks there.

My Ravage 2 goes about 5-8 feet longer with a stronger backend. Both balls of mine are drilled the same. My Ravage 1 hits the midlane more.
