Thoughts on the Total S&A and the S&A
« on: August 03, 2005, 05:25:43 AM »
First off let me say I'm a big storm guy, I love storm products however I got two Morich balls for my two have-a-ball leagues. Let me say that one night of the week I bowl on a much longer and tougher pattern than the next so I will compare the balls differently.  My Shock and Awe is pin above finger 4 1/4" from my PAP CG in the middle of my palm mass bias in the strong position.  Due to the pin placement this ball gets more length than my fired up which I have drilled 4" pin under cg stacked.  This ball as with most morich stuff drives to the pocket very hard except I'm a little dissappointed by the degree of turn I get off this ball.  It's a little too even for my liking.
Total Shock and Awe
So I got this ball last night 3 7/8" to PAP pin under CG stacked in the middle of my grip about an inch above the thumb and mass bias in the strong no side hole.  Wow this ball is a chainsaw...you need oil for this puppy to work.  I used it last night on the longer house shot and this ball just flat out turns.  I was playing against a cranker and personally made him move eight boards last night from 34 to the gutter cap out to 5 due to the soaking power of this ball...I only moved three boards with it.  This ball I think would out hook my pin under vertigo but It was at home and I didnt try it yet.  More to come...I'm very impressed with both balls, but my fired up still wins me more money...
