I read something about a skid/flip drill pattern? Any idea what it is?

I'm assuming that the sharp breakpoint drill pattern would make the Shock & Awe skid/flip, right?

King of the Mill has sold 10 of them already so they must be available.

I saw mine tonight.
My guy said he would get it drilled on Friday. I have a tournament this weekend. Who knows might get a chance to throw it.

Lefty,

I go to Precision Bowling inside AMF Bowlero. Scott and Lori do a great job and I don't know anybody that seems to know more about the game than they do. Scott pays attention to every detail and knows Morich stuff extremely well. I know several guys that have these on order. If you have any questions I'm sure you can get in touch with them at the proshop.

Any more questions just ask.

Scott

The BALL is stronger then the test models that were used.  They are very angular and have a modified van gaurd core.  The length is similar to the ravage but with the backend reaction of the WMB.  Like I said before more angular.

Has anyone used or thinking is using the high track sharp break point drilling from the Morich website on their Shock and Awe.

I am considering that drill pattern so any comments would be welcome..

Jkiser, I'm getting mine drilled up tonight. I just didn't have the time yesterday.

I'm drilling it up with the Asymmetrical flip pattern. I'll let you know how it reacts.

Box specs: 15 5oz
Pin 3-4"
Top Weight: 3.2oz

Well I finally drilled up my Shock & Awe and WMB, but I haven't thrown either one of them...

Shock & Awe: 4 1/2 X 5 1/4 weight hole inline with thumb.
WMB: 3 3/8 X 5 1/4

Here's some photos:

Shock and Awe from the front: http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wODM0MDU1NnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D.jpg

Shock from the side with weight hole in line with the thumb hole (had too much side, went with finger weight): http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wODM0MDU2NnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D.jpg

WMB from the front: http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wODM0MDgzNnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D.jpg

WMB from the side showing the MB's position: http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wODM0MDU4NnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D.jpg

Will give an update when I throw these bad boys in league tomorrow.

It sounds like a great ball that you just need to work a bit with it..

Well I finally had a chance to throw my WMB and Shock & Awe. I was very impressed by both of them, but the Shock & Awe really stands out. Talk about raw power at the pins! Skids through the heads cleanly, starts to rev up in the mids, and makes a wicked turn on the backend. This ball actually makes me look like I have some hand. The hit is quite impressive, although I didn’t shoot any decent games in league (162, 211, 180)… I wasn’t used to a ball snapping so hard on the backend in a long time. Takes well to different hand positions and speed changes. I’m glad I drilled mine the way I did; I can’t imagine it with the sharp breakpoint drill.

I’ll give an update when I throw some more games with it.
