I have a couple of questions:

- Your Red Fuze hooks less than your Punisher?
I can see that in medium -light oil, because the Raging has a stronger cover and, I believe, a stronger core. Is the Raging tracked out or worn out or drilled super weak? (Raging has PK 18; Punisher uses N'Control cover.)

- Your Apocalypse hooks less than your Nemesis?
I'd guess that were true on the medium-heavy oil, as the Nemesis is for that amount of oil, while the Apoc, unless sanded to the same degree as the Nemesis, is more for medium oil.  The Apoc has a half pearl/half solid cover, with strong high flaring core that comes highly polished.

The hercules, being a Morich ball, can be finished and drilled stronger than any of your 4 balls, in the middle of anywhere among them, or weaker than any of them. I'd suggest finding where you have a spot to fill in your aresenal, then buying the appropriate ball (MoRich or other) to fill it in usefully.

my punisher goes kinda long and covers more boards than my fuze will so on a fresh house shot its stronger but my fuze will cover more boards overall c/ it hooks ealier(sry guess ordered them wrong) my apocalypse hooks late but has such strong movement it covers more boards and handles more oil than my fuze my nemesis i just got and kinda figuring out lil quirks about it but i know its stronger than any of the other balls i have

Edited, because Vader knows it all and doesn't need my help no matter how well intentioned.

where did big hook come from ? i was asking where the onslaught would fit in and i have a hard time describing how different balls react for me. I hardly stand any deeper than 18 (left handed) i was just asking an opinion on a ball and i feel that i was talked down to like i have no clue whats going on. I just cant describe reations too well i know what each ball does on the lane when im up there throwing it. Im not an idiot.

Vader,
I'm not sure where the Onslaught would fit for you, cause I have never used any of the pieces you mentioned. Plus, I don't know how fast you throw, or your revs, or your PAP, etc.

But for me, the Onslaught is a light oil ball. A devastating light oil ball. But....just as CharlesT says, the Hercules is an extremely versatile piece. Listen to the man, cause he knows his stuff!!!! You can drill it weak, with a little shine and have a piece comparable to the Onslaught, or dull it and drill it strong, and have a hook-monster!! Your choice. That ball is a highly overlooked rock. I have one, and had only been using it on hvy oil.

Took mine out for a spin last nite in league play and shot 190-213-276. The ball is awesome.

Not trying to dissuade you from the Onslaught, just giving you another option!

Bob,
Did you have to sand your Onslaught at all, or are you just using release and speed adjustments to cover all conditions?

got to go w/ Chaz on this one !!

Hercules all way.......probably one of the only balls you could make a full arsenal out of!

I could easily have a 4 or 5 ball arsenal out of nothing but Hercs!  It's just that versatile!
