Title: Your Favorite from MoRich
Post by: mainzer on July 06, 2007, 05:19:37 AM
Seeing has some of the other Forums have the ''Your Favorite'' post up I most ask, What is Your favortie MoRich ball? And what about a least favortie if that is possible to decide

Me I gotta go with Hercules no questions asked as my Favorite. Least would have to be my Mayhem I never really got used to throwing it, it was always felt awkward in my hand like it was a bag full of bricks in the backswing.

Seek and Destroy as my favorite.  The ball really was predictable and hit great.  My least favorite was probably my Onslaught. That piece was always a bit over under for me.  A close second favorite was the Awesome Flip.  The Flip may not have hit as well for me and others on the fresh oil, but I felt as though it was more versitile as I could move in when the shot broke down without losing hit.

Hands down it's the original Ravage. Most versatile best carrying ball out of the MoRich line.

Minotaur - had 300-246-290 = 836 with it in April 2003.

Bought a Total Annihilation and within a month had 300-247-300 = 847 in January 2005.

I am going down to a 15# due to elbow problems.  Bought a Shock & Awe, and it rolls way, way too early on a house shot (seems OK in my PBA Experience league).  I tried to get a concensus of local pro shop owners, but none have a good reason why it doesn't work in league, and all had drastically different solutions.

I am combing the world looking for a 15# TA so I can lay it out like my 16#er.  I saw a new one on Ebay... but I don't know if one bowling ball is worth a house payment.

Ravage: 299 (1) 300 (3) 800 (5) including my personal high of 848
Awesome Flip: 298 (1) 300 (1) 800 (1)

If I ever find the jackhole who stole my 2 ball tote with the originals God help you.......

My favorite morich ball would have to be either the finish or the flip.  The finish has a strong back end for my house shot. The flip was a nice dry lane ball.

Least favorite was the wmb I hated that ball with a passion it never worked for anything great 10 pin ball

Seek and Destroy by a large margin. The one ball I have used that you could cover some boards on oil. The vast majority of oilers will not turn a corner and continue, they like to be played up the boards. The Seek will turn the corner and recover like a champ. IMO the best/most underrated ball Mo has ever made.
