Sorry. I forgot to repost lol. I loved it polished! I actually took the polish off with a used 4,000 pad after I few games and I still love it

Glad to hear that. I'm guessing the Forza, like some other rough finished balls, react better after a break-in period (my Rumble comes to mind). If so, removing the initial polish makes sense.

My interest in the Forza is in comparison to the Optimus Solid and Devour. According to BTM's reviews these three have very similar applications, finishes, lane motions and high marks — the Devour's higher RG being a key difference.

I'm partial to Motiv, own several, and have gotten excellent league results using the Tribal Fire, which they rate as a light-to-medium oil ball with a strong back-end.

What I'm looking for is a medium-to-heavy oil ball with an early reaction — a gap in my arsenal — but most Motiv equipment is stronger than they claim. The Forza's cover is said to take very well to alterations, as your reply confirms. This relieves me a bit, because I may need to tame the ball down somewhat.

I love my Forza.  It does need oil or it will not hook the way that it can.  In oil even heavy oil, the ball is a monster!!! It will be burning up without oil.

I am also looking at forza, haywire and devour as my next medium/heavy ball. What were the numbers that btm gave the devour and forza for cranker and tweener for heavy and medium conditions?

I love the forza, but I haven't really seen enough oil to use it to its full potential. My misfit has been plenty enough ball for everything I have seen this summer

Attached .pdf file answers your question, but these are bare bones. The real meat is always in a given ball review. A full subscription to BTM is only $37.75, and they still offer a free trial subscription (i.e., fully refundable). BTM offers a lot more than just ball reviews. Worth every penny.

Just the same, they can't replace BallReviews' ability to exchange info, ideas and opinions between bowlers.
