BALL REACTION
Length: easy length through the front
Back End: smooth, gradual shape
Overall Hook: More total hook than the other QZ balls (QZ Red, and QZ2), but not as much as the new QZ2 Backdraft.
Midlane Read: more midlane than the other QZ balls, but not as much as the new QZ2 Backdraft. The main reason the purple QZ has more midlane read is the surface prep. This one is 1000 w/ polish whereas the QZ Red is 2000 w/ polish and QZ2 is 4000 w/polish.
Breakpoint Shape: smoother than the other QZ releases I have thrown. It's a shape that's predictable and easy to read.
COMMENTS
Likes: Drilled to play the track area and out. This core/cover and drilling allow me to do just that. I can easily manipulate this piece's reaction which makes it a possibility on any "medium" lane condition and some shorter/lighter volume conditions.
Dislikes: Doesn't like a lot of volume and anything beyond medium will force this ball back into the bag. there are plenty of options in our line up though for the slicker stuff.
