Introducing the solid Motiv Raptor Fury – now even more untamed and aggressive than ever. A true legend in its determined mastery of the bowling lanes, the Raptor series returns to unleash pure havoc. With its cutting-edge Leverage XFS solid coverstock and the relentless Affliction V2 core, the Raptor Fury stands as the most potent symmetrical choice in the MOTIV collection. It's an absolute essential in any bowler's arsenal.Carrying forward the legacy of its predecessors, the Leverage XFS coverstock technology has been designed to dominate the contemporary bowling landscape. Recent enhancements to the Leverage technology dig into the oil with precision, providing a touch more length and remarkable energy retention compared to the Jackal Ambush. This translates into enhanced down-lane motion and increased adaptability, shaping the Leverage XFS into a controlled benchmark tool for handling substantial oil patterns. The Affliction V2 core, the mightiest symmetrical core in MOTIV Bowling's arsenal, is a testament to the Raptor Fury's prowess. With its rapid rotation and low RG (Radius of Gyration), the Affliction V2 core delivers mid-lane strength and unmatched control. A remarkable differential of 0.055 equates to incredible flare potential for the Raptor Fury. While many bowlers tend to gravitate toward asymmetrical bowling balls for heavy oil conditions, the versatility of a symmetrical core presents a distinct advantage, offering exceptional continuation and reliability on the lanes.

Length: 42

Volume: 25mls

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

Likes: Smooth, Nice Compliment to the Jackal Ambush

Box Surface
Smooth, Controllable, Benchmark Piece for Heavier Volume / Shape Patterns

So as of when I originally punched this piece back in November I liked it as a strong symmetric solid. Since then I have put another 20 odd some games on it in league and am carrying a 240 average with it in those games.

To say this ball has been a perfect addition to my bag would be far to cliche.

As for the ball itself, Please be sure to talk with your PSO about your PAP and Axis Numbers. I personally went with a layout that placed the pin above my ring finger with the CG kicked out about 25 degrees from center of grip. I left the ball at box surface. It has been cleaned a couple of times with Motiv Amplify ball cleaner.

I can't get over how smooth and predictable it is, My moves night in, night out, different centers have been minimal with this piece and the ball just keeps on hitting and driving. It's so good and I highly recommend it to anybody needing or wanting a new Symmetric Solid Piece.

The Raptor Fury is a must have for med-heavy oil conditions. The balls reads the oil very well without losing the backend motion that Motiv is known for. Perfect ball for when the ghost is slightly to angular or the shock is pushing through the oil. Definitely recommend for sports shots or any shots with 20+ ml.
