Description: The Revolt Vengeance is armed with the same Vanquish core as the Covert Revolt. However, this time around instead of a solid coverstock it utilizes the brand NEW Turmoil HFH Hybrid Reactive coverstock. The Revolt Vengeance colors consists of black solid and pearl gray with neon green accented logos to give it great shelf appeal.
Reaction: Two of MOTIV’s all-time popular pieces are the Covert Revolt and Primal Rage (#redball). Those two balls are also on opposite sides of the shape spectrum. The Covert Revolt gave bowlers hook and control, while the Primal Rage gave bowlers length and a new meaning to backend. Well, the Revolt Vengeance is meant to give you the perfect combination of both! To me this is what I would consider to be a stronger version of a benchmark ball. My first layout (45X4.5X65) read the middle part of the lane sooner but, the response down lane was slower than that of my second layout. The benefits of the initial layout were that it allowed me to start further in on the puddle but, still allowed for some nice controlled continuation at the breakpoint. My second layout (60X5.5X35) eased through the middle part of the lane and responded much faster at the breakpoint. I felt this pattern brought out the characteristics of what the real intention of the Revolt Vengeance is meant for.
Comparisons: Yes, MOTIV honestly nailed it when getting a reaction in between the Covert Revolt and Primal Rage. The Covert Revolt is much more even throughout the lane and overall provides a little more hook potential. The Primal Rage responded even faster down lane in addition to a little less hook potential compared to the Revolt Vengeance. Finally, the Venom Shock reads the lane earlier and provides a smoother response downlane with less hook potential. I can say that there is no overlapping when it comes MOTIV’s releases.
Summary: This isn’t a ball that is condition specific, as I said before this is a stronger type of benchmark ball for me. I can say so far I really like this ball on the fresh, it provides the ideal length and response down lane resulting in my favorite type of shape. I also feel this is a piece that is going to see action from start to finish because of the shape it creates.

The new Revolt Vengeance is the latest product from our friends at Motiv Bowling. The Vengeance brings back the very successful Vanquish core from the Covert Revolt and we combined that with the new Turmoil HFH Hybrid Reactive coverstock technology makes this a weapon pins don’t want to mess with. The Revolt Vengeance is a touch cleaner than the Covert Revolt and a much stronger backend motion with a continuation through the pins that is out of this world.

What can I say other than this is my favorite ball in my bag so far. The absolutely loved the Covert Revolt and the Vengeance is just as good. I love the motion the Revolt Vengeance gives me on the lanes and I feel that I can strike at will with the Revolt Vengeance. I believe it’s just as smooth as the Covert, but little more cleaner down lane and more of a stronger, angular backend motion and the continuation is just out of this world. And the icing on the cake I’ve already have had a few people drill up a Vengeance since the release and that have all come within a few pins of shooting 800. That right there is a successful release. This ball store energy very well and is a nice fit for any bowler on any condition.

Description:
The Revolt Vengeance is the second ball in the Revolt line. It features the same Vanquish weight block as the Covert Revolt, and has the Turmoil HFH Hybrid Reactive coverstock. The Revolt Vengeance is a ball that can be used in both the oily and dry conditions.
What I Use it For:
What I like about this ball is how smooth it is in the mid-lane. I feel like I can control the motion very well and have no problems playing straight or opening my angles without losing motion through the pins. That being said it is a ball that I place right in the middle of my arsenal between the Forza and Covert Revolt. Because of where it fits in my bag, it is a very good transition ball, allowing me to go to it with confidence when losing a look with a different ball.

Summary:
The Vengeance Revolt is a must buy because of how controllable it is. If you want consistent scores from tournament to tournament, this ball should be in your bag.

I have been a long time Storm/Roto guys and decided to give Motiv a try this season.
Started with a Venom Shock and was thrilled with the ball over all, so much that I kept purchasing Motiv equipment, a Covert Revolt, An Apex and now a Revolt Vengeance.
I had been thrilled with the Covert Revolt and have mentioned that it and the Venom Shock are two of the best balls Ive ever thrown, being a house hack and a ball w***e thats a lot of different equipment to compare too. Then Friday it all changed, I now believe that the Vengeance is possibly better than both. Amazing to me.
The ball is relatively clean in the front and smooth in the midlane but has a nice "punch" in the back. Nothing like it was kicked sideways, but a nice controlled strong move. The carry was insane for me. I have struggled with carry in this league and in this house for the last two years, it got better with the Covert Revolt and Venom Shock combination,but was amazing with the Vengeance. As the transitions started the ball was so easy to read and I was able to make slight adjustments and just keep killing the pocket. The deeper I went, the more the ball finished. Very rare for me to stay with one ball throughout the set, but this was easy. I drilled similar to my Covert Revolt(50x4x40 P2) but with slightly longer pin to pap to make sure I got a bit more length. I also hit the surface with a 4000Ab and the ball is as perfect for my style as I could have asked for. Id highly recommend for everyone to take a good look at it, its a great motion that is predictable and hits with a ton of power.
Im looking forward to friday so I can throw it again....

Motiv’s covert revolution took hold of the bowling world and now its coming out with a vengeance! The Revolt Vengeance is the next step for the powerfully successful Vanquish core (2.47 RG, .056 Diff) and is an amazing compliment to the Covert Revolt. By wrapping Vanquish in the new Turmoil HFH coverstock we get the glide through the heads of a pearl but the control and power of a solid through the mids and backend. The layout I chose for this ball is a staple in my repertoire as it gives me control without sacrificing performance, something the Vengeance not only embracing, but takes to a whole new level. This easily gets through the heads better than the Covert for me but still gives a strong midlane read, a great indicator of a new benchmark ball. At the breakpoint this hybrid shell has stored enough energy that I get a very strong response to the friction and phenomenal hitting power through the pins. This ball combines the best features of the Covert (control, hitting power) with more length and greater recovery down lane; truly is a hybrid reaction! It has been a long while since I have seen a ball that can read the mids this well and not bleed the energy that takes away from the backend reaction. If you’re looking for a new benchmark for medium to heavy lane conditions, join the Motiv Revolution and strike with a Vengeance!

Likes: What stood out to me was how well the Vengeance does fit in between the Covert Revolt and Primal Rage. It fills the void between the smoother pieces and skid/flip pieces.
Dislikes: For how I personally use it, it's a bit conditional. Not a knock on the ball, but won't be one I use everyday. It's an arsenal piece to me.
The Revolt Vengeance has the same Vanquish core from the Covert Revolt featuring a 2.46 RG and 0.057 differential. The cover is a hybrid resin called Turmoil HFH. I drilled my Vengeance 50 x 4 1/2 x 30 with no extra hole to start. I tried it at box finish on AMF HPL and Qubica synthetic surfaces. I had a modicum of success playing left of the track going straighter up the lane. The Vengeance didn't jump early when it hit the friction left. I tried opening up the lane some as I felt I could play right of the track throwing it to a spot down lane. It had a very hard time carrying the corners. I left a lot of 7 pins, half pocket 7-10s, etc. It was too lazy down lane. I stripped the cover down and brought it to 2000 grit then I polished it with Black Magic ball polish. This didn't solve the problem although I did get a faster response to friction. After trying to using it in league and resorting to the Tribal Fire I opted to drill an extra hole 2 1/4 below my PAP on my VAL. I used a 7/8 bit, 2 1/2 inches deep. This brought the ball to life for me! I was able to play a broader range of angles and I didn't have to work so hard anymore to carry the 7 pin. In other words I didn't have to be perfect anymore off my hand and catch it all at the bottom of my swing. This is by no means a knock on the ball. I just had a hard time getting it to work the way I was seeking. I personally plan to use this ball as a transition from my Forza. The Forza is so smooth and even. The Vengeance for me is just as early but provides a slightly faster response to friction which I feel is essential to my game. I like seeing that early mid lane presence no matter what. However, I need different breakpoint shapes. It's rare that I resort to using the fast response friction balls (i.e. Primal Rage and Octane) unless the righties just absolutely beat up the pattern from deeper on the lane and/or I cross with 3-4 lefties during a block. I see high rev players enjoying this ball the most. It is the best of both worlds. A nice blend of the elements that made the Rage and Covert Revolt so well received. If you own a Primal Rage already I highly recommend picking the Vengeance up as you will have a ball to use a little earlier when the pattern is fresher and there isn't a defined spot to throw to yet. Lower rev rate and high ball speed players will like the Vengeance because it gives them more motion in the mid lane without sacrificing shape down lane. Review:
The Revolt Vengeance features a new cover stock from Motiv. The HFH Hybrid cover is cleaner through the front than the original Revolt and is move angular. I find this ball fits great between my Covert Revolt and Primal Rage in total boards and backend. The new Vengeance also seems to require less surface maintenance that the Covert. Motiv Power Gel Clean after bowling has been all I need. I had such a good look with the box surface I drilled a second Vengeance with a weaker layout and gave it a high polish. The surface is easy to tune and with a high polish the ball is extremely clean through the fronts with a more angular backend than the box surface provides. When the box surface is too strong don’t be afraid to adjust this ball. I do prefer the box surface because this allows the ball to be very different than my other high grit sanded dull balls. I am a fan of the Vanquish core and have had the best look drilling these balls with low RG layouts. The Vanquish core is strong in the mid lane but the Vengeance does not quit in the back creating strong hit with great carry. The Revolt Vengeance rolled well on any type of condition I tested it on but seems to dominate an oily house shot. The outsides where I bowl league are not that much drier than the middle of the lane and I felt the Vengeance gave me a lot of miss area. This is a great choice when the Rage is not enough and the Covert is too much in reaction.
Summary:
This ball is a good fit for any style.
I loved this ball as soon as I rolled it.
Surface adjustments give this ball a wide range of reaction.
The Hybrid cover on the Vengeance was a great idea.

Attack the lanes with a vengeance, the new Motiv Revolt Vengeance. Featuring the low RG (2.47) and high diff (2.56) Vanquish core found in the original Covert Revolt rapped with a new Turmoil HFH Hybrid Reactive coverstock.
Armed with my favorite layout, 60X5X30, the Vengeance gives me the same early roll as the Covert Revolt, the difference is in the response to friction which is noticeably stronger and reminiscent to the popular Primal Rage. The Vengeance allows me, being a senior player, to start a little deeper in oil and maintain the recovery and continuation through the pins.
With the Covert Revolt and Revolt Vengeance in your bag, I really don't think there is a better 1-2 combo of bowling balls to have. As the lanes break down with the Vengeance, a change to the Covert Revolt puts you back on the strike bus.

Introducing the highly anticipated follow up to the Covert Revolt, The Revolt Vengeance! MOTIV has once again looked back at their previous success and chose to evolve by taking the strengths of 1 success, but 2. The Vengeance still maintains the similar track flare and hook potential that has been seen in the Covert Revolt, it exhibits similar traits that can been seen within the legendary Primal Rage with its ability to retain energy and provide strong backend motion. The beauty of the Vengeance is that it does not just compliment one, but 2 of MOTIVs finest releases in their product line.
Here is the scenario, your 2 to 3 games into a qualifier block and you’ve had no mercy for the lanes while starting with Primal Rage, but you’re just hit a pair that front part of the lane is not allowing the Rage to enter a comfortable roll and has become too angular down lane. You consider the Covert Revolt, but although the earlier roll and surface will allow it to read the early part lane much better; unfortunately it simply does not have the energy to hit with power in the back-end. With the Vengeance, the best of both worlds is possible. The Turmoil HFH Hybrid reactive cover still allows for a much earlier roll that isn’t seen with the Rage. Adding a 5000 grit finish, this ball is a pinch cleaner and is able to retain energy on the backend providing the power and continuation needed that the original Covert Revolt may be lacking.
The Covert Revolt was easily one of the best pieces of equipment that MOTIV has placed in my hands. Within a matter of 4 to 5 games, I had managed to not only through a 289, 290 and 300, but I had thrown an 837 series during a tournament qualifier. To say I was one of those anticipating a follow up to the Revolt would be an understatement. The Vengeance was in no way a disappointment once I threw that first shot. What better way to determine if the Vengeance is a true compliment to the Covert than have the same layout placed on this ball. Most nights I might myself having difficulty determine which one to through as both have proven to be undeniably effective on almost any lane condition that it has come across. The energy retention as well as the clean response allows this piece to be thrown in countless angles without the concern of missing the spot and pushing it past the break-point. This is an absolute must for those who loved the Covert Revolt and even those who love the Rage as well. It is time to Unite and Take Over MOTIV Nation! #MOTIVREVOLUTION

I have my Vengeance drilled with the pin over the ring finger which puts it about 3 3/4 away from my PAP. I threw the ball at box finish a few times but it was a little long for what I wanted because it was not slowing down enough in the middle of the lane to move in the back of the pattern. So I decided to hit it with a 1000 abralon pad and it changed the motion dramatically. At 1000 the ball still retains enough energy to go downlane and make a nice motion in the back of the pattern. Compared to the normal Revolt, it is noticeably more angular downlane which make it a very nice compliment. If I need something a little more in the back of the pattern I can simply ball down to one of my rages and it will compliment my vengeance nicely.

The Revolt Vengeance is the easiest controlled ball I have thrown. I’ve developed a love for Hybrids for the versatility and how controlled they are. I tested the Revolt Vengeance against the Revolt and Primal Rage. The Vengeance for me is perfect when the Revolt reads a little too soon (being a solid), and when the Primal Rage is too angular on the back end. The Revolt Vengeance has a continuous backend and doesn’t quit going through the pins. This has quickly become one of my favorites in my bag.

Summary:
The Revolt Vengeance is absolute must-have. I have used mine on numerous sport patterns and the backend shape is nearly identical on every pattern. This has become my immediate go-to ball during any tournament, whether beginning of the squad, in the middle, towards the end of the block, in a few cases, the entire block and the motion doesn’t change (granted with a little versatility). Order this by the case, it will be well worth it!!

Sorry I took so long in writing the review on the MOTIV Revolt Vengeance but I wanted to dry something different versus putting out a review right before the release. I wanted to throw it for a few months so that I could see the true characteristics of it on a variety of conditions such as house and sport patterns. I drilled my Revolt Vengeance slightly different than my typical favorite drill (65 x 4.5 x 40). I punched it with a (70 x 5.5 x 35) with the biggest difference being the pin distance. I was hoping to get a little bit more length and a smooth but angular look in the back part of the lane. I accomplished just that, the ball is very versatile for me. I feared that the Vengeance would be too angular for me on flatter conditions with my favorite layout but this Vengeance has proven to be very useful on house and sport compliant conditions. It gets me great length on a house condition (Stone street) but still makes a very good read in the lane midlane with an angular to smooth reaction and is very continuous through the pins. But on flatter patterns such as this years USBC Open Team pattern (38ft) and Singles and Doubles (39ft) the ball would allow me to play inside on the break down and have some success. When I am playing on tougher patterns I am always looking to find a ball that creates the most area for myself to throw more strikes. But also, when I am not striking I want my ball reaction to leave me makeable spares, (2pin when I miss right) and (4pin when I miss left). The Vengeance was really good in that regards, not only did it give me a little room left and right to strike but when I did not strike I was still filling frames and keeping myself in play. The Vengeance is a must have in your bag and should fit right between the Covert Revolt and Primal Rage in your Motiv arsenal. I plan on drilling another for sure. This ball was one of the six balls I took out to El Paso with me and I was very impressed with its performance at the Bowlers Journal. Must have in your bag! Get MOTIVated!!!

I can't tell you how excited I was when I heard that MOTIV was making an second installment of my absolute favorite ball in the MOTIV line, the Covert Revolt. Meet the Revolt Vengeance. It's the Vanquish weight block running this baby surrounded by a new Turmoil HFH hybrid cover stock with the beautiful colors of gray and black. MOTIV designed this piece to fit right between the Covert Revolt and the Primal Rage. I can say for me it is true as advertised. The Vengeance gives me the smoothness of the Revolt up front and the backend of the Primal Rage with its amazing continuation thru the pins. I used the Vengeance on the PBA Shark pattern (43ft in length). When compared to the Covert Revolt the Vengeance gives me the extra pop off the spot when Revolt is not going thru the pins correctly while still giving me the smoothness and control in the front part of the lane as the Revolt. The performance of the Vengence on this pattern was outstanding. Even in the heavy oil the Vengeance made it very easy to keep my lines pretty straight while storing very well as it came off the end of the pattern. Chasing it in the Vengeance still performed quite well going thru the pins quite well with amazing continuation. The Vengeance is a must have definitely a must have if you like the Covert Revolt.

This ball is the newest introduction into the Revolt line of bowling balls. The MOTIV Revolt Vengeance features a new hybrid coverstock combined with the Vanquish core. It's cleaner through the front of the lane, strong in the mid lane and more backends then the Covert Revolt.
It will be a great fit in your bag on medium to heavy oil.
My Vengeance is laid out with the pin under the ring finger, a slight shift and a hole below my PAP. It is clean through the front part of the lane, makes a strong move and is very continuous through the pins. This ball is going to get A LOT of play for me on heavy oil..
