Covert Tank

Tanks are tough and strong and so is the Motiv Covert Tank. Motiv created a new coverstock that combines the best of urethane and reactive resin. The Frixion Microcell Polymer coverstock absorbs oil much slower than reactive resin but unlike urethane does allow some absorption. This coverstock enables the ball to generate more continuation along with better pin carry while maintaining traction. The Covert Tank offers more versatility than urethane balls to better match more bowling styles due to the strong Torx core. This core has a higher differential that creates more track flare, betters backend motion, and reduces the amount of oil distribution on the lane.

Oh my god this ball...

I literally cannot say enough good things about the Covert Tank. It's been the ball of the year for me. I *depend* on this ball to give me a chance on any condition where the lanes are either drier or just super touchy wet-dry. House shots, sport shots, USBC Nationals even. The Covert Tank is my go-to when I need to know exactly what the ball is going to do. Especially with me getting around the side of the ball so much, my equipment tends to be pretty jumpy off the spot. On fresh or drier conditions, I need predictability more than power. Urethane doesn't work for me. It either rolls up too early or never hooks at all. Ball has already paid for itself three times over in two short months. I cannot wait to see what more MOTIV ends up doing with this new coverstock. I've never been this excited about a coverstock before but Microcell Polymer is truly special.

This ball is unreal!

This ball does so much I really dont know where to start. I am able to use this on fresh, or with carry down when my pearls are skidding through the break point.. I need the predictability of this ball and I have never been able to throw Urethane due to my lower rev rate. This ball and its innovative coverstock are exactly what I need and I know I can rely on it when conditions are difficult.
