The Motiv Supra is super clean! This ball gets through the front of the lanes easily and then reacts big on the backend thanks to the Infusion Pearl reactive coverstock. The engine in this ball is the High Impulse which is a modified version of the original Impulse core with high RG. This cover and core combination offer length and angle on light to medium oil.

COMMENTS

Likes: The title says it all. Great things have been coming out of Muskegon and the Supra is no exception. This ball features the Infusion cover stock from the Ripcord with a modified version of the Impulse core found in the famous “Red ball”. Made for friction this ball has the fastest response to friction of any ball I have ever had. During league when the lanes break down and I need to get left, this is the piece I grab. It’s very clean through the fronts and mids but once it hits the “spot” it turns. This ball really allows me to open up my angles when I need to without compromising carry.

The layout I used on the Supra is 55x4x30. If you are wanting a ball that is really clean and really fast off the spot… look no further than the Motiv Supra!! This is a ball that can use on drier lane conditions or when the pattern breaks down. When angles need to be open, this ball can do just that. When the Venom Recoil is leaving flat corners for me, I immediately know I can go to this one, make a small move in, and see those corners get snapped out. This ball WILL store energy for the pins.

This ball was created to push the limits in the MOTIV line of bowling balls. The MOTIV Supra is capable of more down lane motion than any other MOTIV ball ever created for light-medium oil.  It features a modified Impulse weight block, made famous by the Primal Rage, in combination with the Infusion Pearl Reactive cover stock.  The Infusion cover provides ease of length with a pronounced response to friction at the end of the pattern.  It adds to the snap created down lane by the High Impulse core, creating impressive backend reaction and outstanding continuation.

It will be a great fit in your bag on light to medium oil.  The high RG spins slowly through the front part of the lane, retaining energy, while the dual density weight block and high differential take over to produce a violent skid-flip backend reaction. The Supra will become that ball you can count on when you need length and backend recovery, store it’s energy and continue through the pin deck.

My Supra is laid out pin up (above my ring finger), the cg very slightly shifted to the right (no extra hole). This ball has already found a place in my bag and drives through the pins with easy from any angle. If you are looking for that go to ball that will clear the fronts, recover from what seems like anywhere, has continuation and awesome hitting power. Look no further, you've found it.

Layout:
70 x 4 ¼” x 40

Get revved up for the most skid-flip ball reaction that MOTIV has produced to date. The appropriately named Supra brings a hard-charging performance to the ball chart in the light-medium line of equipment. This is the first pearl offering for the Infusion coverstock technology. Combing this high-octane cover, finished at 5500LSP, with the brand-new High Impulse core (2.57RG, .050Diff) derived from the legendary Primal line, has created an impressive angular motion to attack broken down lanes.

Knowing the Supra was a faster, slightly weaker, little brother to the Rip Cord, I put a stronger pin to PAP layout on it so that I could use it earlier in the day as the typical house shots I bowl on do not break down far enough to where this ball will shine. I also decided to hit it with a 3000 pad since I could have shaved in its reflection out of box. By fine tuning this vehicle to my specific wants, I unleashed a beast of a ball when the burn arrives and all that remains is stepping left. Usually around game three for me a large amount of fiction has developed to the right while the soupy middle remains relatively untouched. What the Supra allows me to do is step left into this earlier oil to allow the ball to glide to that burned track area then watch as a dramatic left turn is made to get back into the pocket. The further left I get with this ball, the more impressed I become as I have yet to find a ‘stopping’ point where I see any diminished reaction due to too much angle. So far in league the greatest angle I have played was laying down at 33 and crossing the arrows at 23. Even with this launch vector the Supra had no issues drifting the corner to come screaming back at the pocket. I have even been able to combat the carry down created by urethane equipment with this ball as I can push my breakpoint further right to get around it, knowing that climbing a steep angle back to the pocket is simple for it.

Clean and fast. Those two words aptly describe the MOTIV Supra. While it and oil do not get along all too well, it is best friends with friction. If you’re needing high performance when the lanes are scorched, this ball provides what you need and more. Drive sideways on those lanes my friends.

Wow is this thing a special piece! This ball gets down lane in a hurry and reacts violently when it see friction. When they say Drive Sideways, they weren't kidding. This ball flies off the friction and smashes the pocket. No need to be scared to throw it to the gutter, it has plenty of horsepower to to get back to shred the rack! Layout I used on this was 60x5.75"x30 which puts the pin above my bridge.

The layout I used on the Supra is 55-4 ¼-25. This ball is very clean through the fronts with plenty of angle downlane. When the lane starts to dry out, and you need to open up your angles the Supra is the ball to go to. I will be using this ball a lot in tournaments when I need to get left and open up my angles to the friction but still have enough downlane motion to get the corners out.

5.75x35 @Box Finish

This core and I have gotten along very well for a long time, since the Remix was one of my favorite pieces of all time, so seeing a higher rg version wrapped around a fast response cover is beautiful. With this ball and layout, I find myself able to play steep angles on lower volume/burnt patterns with relative ease. This ball is one that will probably stay in my tournament ball though.

5.25x35 @4000 grit

I loved the shape that I got from the first one, but with that cover and drilling, it was far too condition specific, so i drilled one slightly stronger and knocked the shine off and immediately found it a place in the bag for house shots. I find this one to be a perfect compliment to my Shock when the condition forces me left enough that the Shock can't corner hard enough, this Supra gets the job done. I can go as far left as I want on a house shot, and as long as I have the friction, it's going to come roaring back.

Depending on what you're looking for, I'd recommend layouts similar to one of those.

Layout: 70 x 4 3/4 x 40
PAP: 4 3/4 x 3/4 up

This ball is fantastic. As a brand new staff player to the Motiv brand, I am off to great start and it happened with the Supra. I utilized this ball on the Mark Roth pattern in our Sport League and the very game out of the box…298!! I finished the night 779 and was nothing short of astounded by this balls performance. Very nice through the fronts and early mid-lane…nice predictable move on the back-ends with no surprises. I truly believe this is a must have for your arsenal.
