Another new Motiv ball being used in Oklahoma?
« on: May 13, 2015, 09:13:01 AM »
I noticed some Motiv staffers using a green Motiv ball during the Bear pattern action yesterday. (Check out Scott Newell, for example, on Xtra Frame.) Is that another one that's yet to be released?

Sounds like one of them could be another Jackal (perhaps hybrid)?

It was mentioned last night on xtraframe.

The name they mentioned for a new ball in July was the Primal Rage Remix. Just what I heard while watching. Don't know how true it is or not but nothing was said about it other than the name.

Brett Spangler posted a tease on facebook the other day. Black and white photo and said it was a remix. Many speculated it was a new primal ball due to the look of the text. Primal Rage Remix fits with what was posted.

I also noticed one comment he made in response to a drilling question. He said that it was the original Primal Rage. That implies there is a new Primal Rage.

The distressed look of the Motiv logo is reminiscent of the Primal Rage and the new Rebel Tank (current lineup).

As far as retired balls, the Cruel line (4 balls), Tank, Primal series (3 balls), Recon series (2 balls) also had the same distressed logo.

That being said, a new entry into the Primal line would make a lot of sense based on the success behind the Primal Rage.  Only thing that I wonder if if the ball will be the replacement for the Primal Rage or a new entry.

Also, Motiv's Facebook page also has Scott Newell throwing a dull dark green ball which doesn't match anything in the current or retired lineups.  Will have to wait and see.

Justin posted a little joke saying the Vengeance and Primal Rage went in a date 9 months ago and there was a lot of wine involved. Lol. So I'm guessing Primal Rage Core with Vengeance cover....

I also understand there's a Jackal hybrid coming out along with the new Primal Rage piece just as I suspected.
