Clearly its a wwrd teaser but for which line?
-
This far out I would guess its an HP release and the way the numbers are written hint at the name.
-
Yeah...I was thinking high end...especially since theyre building hype
-
If you are trying to take the picture from facebook, it is more like a 121131. So saying it is a release date doesn't seem likely.
Motive releases a new ball about every 45 days so I doubt they would tease a ball that is two balls away from being released.

Agreed. Primal Rage and the new Pearl Ascents were released 06/13 so it's been over 45 days since they have been released.
There has been talk of a pearl Sigma Tour and also the solid Sigma Tour is no longer in the present line-up. You can see the holes in the ball guide and also the ST will be removed. http://www.motivbowling.com/resources/ball-guide.html

12-11-31
Yes and that doesn't correspond to a date or wwrd. So, really doubt it's anything to do with a date.
I guess pearl Sigma Tour!

Maybe it's R1B1? coverstock formula of some sort? I'm just grasping at straws here.

Long and angular to me means Fusion or Whiplash....which has been on the Primal Scream (Whiplash solid), Thrash Frenzy (Whiplash pearl), Primal Rage (Fusion pearl). That is it is long and strong which the next release was reported to be.

Whoopsvmy mind flipped the 31 and made 13 hahaha...that would make sense thats a long ways a way
-
Probably a sigma, maybe a 3cruel hehe

Because I like to over analyze things, I feel like there is more to what we see.
If we assume these are not numbers, then the structure of the letters leads us to believe the last "vertical line" is the spine to another letter. The first letter we see resembles an "R". The spine to that "R" only has a curve at the upper left of the spine. The next "letter" has a curve at the upper left AND at the lower right (and is slightly wider). This makes me think this is an "I". The second letter has the spine piece identical to the "R" making me believe it to be a "B" when combined with the next piece. The last piece is identical to the spines from the "R" and the "B". This means there is an additional piece that goes with that letter. This would limit it to a small number of letters (D, E, F, H, K, L, M, N, P, R - I left the B out of this list since the previous B extends below the spine and we would see it in range of view for the next letter).
However, these letters don't give us much in terms of word development if the "R" is the first letter. So that makes me think there is more before what we see.
If "RIB" is in the middle of a word you can come up with words like "TRIBE" and "BRIBE". These are the only consonants that make sense to me at the moment. I know Native American heritage is big in the Michigan area, but I wonder if there would be any "PC" issues with using something like "TRIBE" as part of a line of bowling balls.
Now that I have wasted this time, I guess I can become more productive on something more important.

Ummm... The only hype being built is the time being spent to build it for them in this forum. You're makig it easy on the marketing department....
I want the 30 seconds back that I wasted coming here... !

I think Tribute could fit with what you're eluding to as well...

Yes, but 12-11-31 is the correct number posted on the site. 12-11-13 is not

I'm thinking it's the middle of the word Tribal
