3 ball arsenal
« on: February 18, 2015, 02:01:58 PM »
If I were to build a 3 ball arsenal what would be recommended.   From a heavy oil ball to a light oil ball.  I already have a ascent that works great for dry.

How often do you see soup? I don't..

Current balls from Motiv 3 ball lineup....

Revolt Vengeance

I do love my Sting and that would be in the middle of those instead of the Panic.

I have low tilt and medium rotation and less or close to 300 rpms.. I'm guessing the ascent apex is a dry condition ball?

Yes, cause a solid color works so much worse then a multi-color ball.  ::)

Performance should be the most important factor, color is superficial.

Nah it's just a picture and one whole solid color not my taste.

Wow didn't know people threw motiv.

Its big in the Midwest right now.  The ebonite and Brunswick brands are seriously dying out in the Midwest.  It used to be all about dv8, and before that hammer.   Now its either storm or motiv...and nothing else lol.  You'll have a one off throwing Brunswick, and a c300 fanatic here and there...
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]

Ok let me step in here... We've seen trolls over the years come into this site and create havoc. Ken isn't one of them. He's a local kid in my area and has bowled with ppl I know recently in a tourney. I never met the guy personally, but guys he bowls with are good ppl.

He isn't as seasoned as we are on here as seen with his post. But, maybe he is sincere about his preference in ball choices - looks over performance. It's not the norm, but we know many ppl are differnt. Also, he hasn't called anyone out nor teased anyone on here. So don't be insulting to a newbie in this site.

We should be cool with one another cause we all are bowlers. Some of you bowl with a towel in your back pocket, or keys hanging on your waist side, and think pin up 1" above the fingers will make a difference. Nothing wrong with that ;)

In all honesty, who cares if someone is choosing a ball because of color or look. There are so many balls that do the same motion anyway, might as well just choose the one you like the best out of all of them.

Ken, do you lick windows when you ride in vehicles?

Idk what this means either but it just sounds like a weak insult

And even wear white belts when they bowl, now, there IS something wrong with that.

I have a confession, when I compared the balls on the Motiv website and was trying to figure out a 3 ball arsenal, I was trying to figure out 3 balls of different color... I also really wanted to make the Rage a ball in my arsenal because I've never had a red ball! Oh my GOD, I too car about color! But you have to admit, when you go to the ball return and your ball is very dark in color and so are 5 others it gets annoying.
