I have been interested in some of Motiv ' bowling balls for a while now and I finally bought a Venom Shock. I've wanted a Marvel Pearl for a few months now because I like the motion of it. Any suggestions? Primal Rage? Sigma Sting? Revolt Vengeance?

I'd definitely say it's between the Vengeance and primal rage but I'm not sure how close either will be. To me, the marvel pearl has a unique roll

The closest of the current lineup would be the Primal Rage, but it's not a match. Motiv doesn't have anything that would be equivalent to the Marvel Pearl currently. The Sigma Sting would be a similar shot shape, but not as strong as the Marvel Pearl.

As some have said, the Marvel Pearl has a unique roll.  Out of the options mentioned, the Primal Rage is going to be more angular.  The Sigma Sting, although it rolls similar, would likely need to be drilled stronger and/or have a surface change to get close to handling heavier oil.  That ball is an awesome benchmark pearl to have in the arsenal though.  The Vengeance would be pretty close in strength but seems to go a touch longer. 

Even though the Marvel Pearl is on closeout, if you want the true Marvel Pearl roll, you may want to just get the Marvel Pearl even though you want to try additional stuff from Motiv.  The Marvel Pearl is one of Storm's better balls.

By the time you've adjusted surfaces/plugged and redrilled balls you would have wasted time and money when you could've avoided all that and got a Marvel Pearl.

Maybe I'll go ahead and just get a Marvel Pearl. If you were starting an arsenal, what balls would you get? Basically, I'm restarting my arsenal based off my Venom Shock and Wipe Out. I was looking at Primal Rage, Sigma Sting, and Covert Revolt.

I'd say, based on BTM, Storm, and Motiv ball ratings online that the Revolt Vengeance gives the best long and strong reaction similar to a Marvel Pearl.

The Venom Shock is your control ball, then you could go Covert Revolt or Jackal (The Jackal is VERY strong - too much for THS for me) for earlier and stronger than the other 2.

Just my 2 cents.

Wait you said the Marvel Pearl gives the best long and strong, but I heard the Marvel Pearl is a strong arc. I was thinking the core in the Revolts are early enough to eliminate a skid flip motion similar to an Octane. I was looking for a Motiv ball that is clean through the heads, reads the mid lane,  and blends the pattern nicely (what I thought the Marvel Pearl did).
