Title: Demo Day review year 2
Post by: Luvswatch on December 06, 2015, 08:50:06 AM
Went to a Demo day, they had Remix, Havoc, Redline, Octane Burn, Panic and Tag. I own a Tag and threw a Panic at last event, so didn't throw those.

Remix was ok, seemed similar to my Cruel Intent, but the House shot was not the right pattern.

The Havoc was a touch stronger then my Covert and had more continuation. Very impressed with this ball, but would only be used on Tournaments for me. (I had my Covert to directly compare the two)

Redline looks nice and was similar to my Sting, not exact but very close. Was a touch earlier for me than my Sting. (I had my Sting to directly compare the two)

Octane Burn was about 3 boards weaker than original Octane, but smoother off the spot. Very nice ball. PSO said it's a touch longer/stronger than the Panic. (I had my Octane to directly compare the two)

This house shot had more volume than I see, some OB to the right, and not strong backends. The Havoc was the best looking for me at this house, but the Burn would be used much more in my situation, so that is what I got.

I recently got a Havoc that I drilled and figured I'd be saving it just for tournaments. Our house shot is 41 ft med-light volume and the Havoc has been my best look on our house shot because I can stay left of everyone and play in the oil. The continuation is great
