Forza vs IQ Nano
« on: January 19, 2016, 01:25:18 PM »
Here over the last few months I've started really considering the Motiv line. Everyone in this area since I've started back bowling seems to go with Storm or DV8 so I just kind of went with the flow on ball recommendations until I started researching myself.

One ball though, the IQ Nano, has been the centerpiece of my Arsenal and become a ball that I just don't leave home without. Sadly it's starting to show its wear and tear and I'm almost dreading the day I have to try and replace it.

So the one ball out there that from research I've seen as a possible replacement has been the Motiv Forza and I'd love to hear some thoughts and opinions on if I'm actually comparing an Apple to and Apple here or if you believe another ball in the Forza line would be a better comparison.

I have both and both are drilled identical. I like my IQ Nano MUCH better than the Forza. In fact, I am selling off my Motiv pieces and moving over to all Roto/Storm with a touch of Visionary mixed in.

As for a direct comparison, I felt as if they covered the same amount of boards although the Forza has more diff. My thought process was always the Nano had more cover which accounted for the difference.

All the kids say that the number one factor in ball motion is the coverstock,so there's that

Had both. Forza is earlier and smoother. I didn't care for IQNano.  Don't have either anymore

I've thrown both. Both were not my favorite..I personally think that an iq nano is a tad stronger than the forza. If you're interested in have a forza redline I'mean trying to sell. I was curious of motiv pieces as well. I've mainly thrown storm and wanted to try motiv so I did. I bought a forza, forza redline, revolt havoc and primal rage remix and graffiti tag. All are great balls and I would say the forza redline is one of my favorites. But it over laps on some other things I have as well. So I'd rather sell that than some of my other stuff.
